Saiyans' Immunity to Extinction Bomb

The Extinction Bomb is a device issued by members of the Galactic Patrol capable of wiping out entire species in order to maintain galactic peace.

According to Jaco, the Extinction Bomb contains a highly contagious and deadly virus that could wipe out entire species, which he once accidentally activated on an unknown planet and was reprimanded by his superiors, indicating that its use is not to be taken lightly by the Galactic Patrol due to its ability to wipe out entire species. The virus can be set to a certain species, as Jaco notes, if he releases it on Earth it will only kill Earthlings.

According to Akira Toriyama, the Extinction Bomb while effective against species like Humans, it does not work against Saiyans.

So, I'd like to propose that Saiyans should have Resistance to Disease Manipulation.
Resistance to Disease Manipulation (Saiyans are immune to the Extinction Bomb, which releases a planet-wide supervirus aimed at extinguishing the targeted population and has been stated to work on other alien planets in the past)

No, the fact that they can build a bomb that targets a certain species and shuts their body down is pretty advanced, and this works on a large majority of alien life according to the One-Shot chapter.
So Saiyans being outright immune (have a similar if not the same biology as humans) is a good feat.

Doesn't the entire premise of the android saga kind of contradict this? Goku got sick and almost died from a virus in there, i think that it should be limited resistance to this speciphic virus of the bomb

We don't even know where the virus came from or just the plot, also we can assume the heart virus has a higher layer than the extinction bomb and also

When Jaco accidentally uses the bomb, it quickly wipes out all living things on a planet. Even his boss scolded him and it could be said that this bomb was not to be trifled with. This is supported by Toriyama's statement in Kanzenshuu, suggesting that the Galactic Patrol's use of it is to maintain galactic peace. Since they were dealing with a Saiyan they better turn a blind eye.
 
Even though they’re called the Galactic Patrol, they only stand a chance against Saiyans when they’re children, and the Extinction Bomb doesn’t work on them. Naturally, they have no choice but to “turn a blind eye” to people like Freeza.

The virus was common enough on Earth to have a common medicine made for it in the future

It just means the virus was more potent and it was likely he got it from Yardrat or sum anyways and it was cured in the future by a genius who created a time machine and MFTL+ spaceship

No? It’s been used to kill other alien races as well it just doesn’t work on saiyans probably for biological reasons

When was it stated to be common? A cure was just developed in the future

the extinction bomb is for any alien race not just humans it’s been used to kill other alien races it just doesn’t work on saiyans
