wait does that necessarily mean obscure historical figures will always be phantoms or no? (can very obscure historical figures be servants or will they always be phantoms/wraiths)

Even obsucre historical figures are far more known and widespread than a urban legend. But the specifics are never completely revealed, and are probably not actually a thing set in stone to begin with. Paul Bunyan is a Servant, I mean... does anyone outside of USA/Canada ever heard of it? There are a lot of examples of legends/stories that are really only relevant in a specific country/regional cultural sphere that are Servants.

At the same time, in Shinjuku, we had the appearance of Round-Faced Priest, String-Fiddling Old Man, Shaggy-Haired Professor, Straight-Laced Gentleman and Belgian, all as phantoms. Father Brown (Priest) and Hercule Poirot (Belgian) are both pretty famous, I would definitely said far more famous than Paul Bunyan, but still lacked the spiritual base to be Heroic Spirits.

I looked at assassin (Fate Stay Night) profile and noticed this in the weaknesses

The Monohoshi Zao, while a finely crafted weapon, is still mundane. This means that it will chip or bend if forced to clash directly against something not made by men, like Saber's Excalibur. Tsubame Gaeshi can only be performed properly if performed on level ground and will become imperfect if the Monohoshi Zao is bent or chipped in combat, leaving gaps through which a swift enough opponent can dodge. Assassin is not particularly interested in finishing his opponents due to his transient existence and is more than likely to attempt to prolong a proper sword fight in order to enjoy it.

So all i need to do to win is

question how did the voyager space probe become a servant.

i can get that animals can be servants but how can machines/inanimate objects like the voyager space probe become one?

what would it take for a NON-human to become a servant? (Same requirements as a human?)

He died
He is considered to be part of humanity
Even then, him becoming an heroic spirit is considered a miracle

Tunguska Event itself became a Heroic Spirit as Koyanskaya.
HS are, at the end of the day, records. A story given form.

Enkidu is a weapon of the gods that acquired a soul.

Guns themselves are said to be able to become HS if they in some way acquired ______ (can't remember if it was soul, personality or something similar).

I don't think she was ever called a HS. She is the condensed thought of the animals who died during the Tunguska accident, specifically, she is a nature spirit. We summon her as a servant the same way we summon divine spirits and beings from pruned timelines, with records.
Enkidu is a weapon of the gods that acquired a soul.
While he's not human, he's basically an homonculi. He's about as much as a HS as Fran or Mordred. Or inhumans like shuten

Was this ever stated? If anything, it was more like "if someone became a hero while using a gun, he could become a heroic spirit, but because the world became uniformized, this is unlikely to happen"

Rhyme isn't an heroic spirit either. Her presence in fgo makes no sense because of that but she is a pseudo servant that was created through alice's feelings in fate/extra with the help of the nursery rhyme reality marble. Anyway, even if there's an example of an inanimate object becoming an heroic spirit -which there's, voyager is one-, it would be an exception to an otherwise well respected rule.

also i have two questions

1. Does the FGO universe take place in the real world? (as in a fictionalized version of it) because it would be fine for servants to enjoy all the popular culture and other forms of media/entertainment that we have in the real world.

2. I understand humanity wants to survive thanks to chaldea and all that. But does that mean at the cost of other species/races?

i mean other species and races might attack humanity and we kill them to maintain our survival. but think about it. maybe they just want to ensure the survivability of their species/race. maybe they had their version of chaldea and wanted to ensure their survivability by killing us.

so is humanity selfish or whatever. ensuring their survivability at the cost of other species/races?

It should be Chaos. I doubt even Harlot could tank an attack from Goetia full power with no damage. Counting other works we have no way to compare him to Roa tho so it could also be him.

I mean ... ORT also exists, but I guess we haven't seen anything from the Spider. Just that Zelretch actively ensures it doesn't awaken. Other than that, Chaos is likely the top antagonist for sheer being completely incomparably greater than Zeus. How strong is Prime Roa exactly?

He should be massively above the true ancestors and at least quite a bit above the dead apostle ancestors, which should include ORT. He is also massively above Altrouge.

ORT and Primate Murder are very specifically noted to be in there own league when compared to the other DAAs.

Sure, but he was straight up stated to be the strongest. Plus he probably defeated primate murder since he fought altrouge (his profile also indicates it)

The novel takes place in 21st century Scandinavia. The master of Aslaug (Archer) and Ragnar (Berserker) is Remina, a remnant of the Yggdmillennia family. Like Prototype Fragments, it will take place in both the past and present, intersecting. Neither Aslaug nor Ragnar remember each other, despite formerly being spouses.

Setting

- Pseudo Holy Grail War base on Fuyuki HGW, there is a Greater Grail

- The first dual HGW in history with 5 unique rules

- One Master can have 2 servants but still 3 Command Seal

- Timeline: 10 years after Apocrypha event

- Location: Oslo, Norway

- MC is Remina Eltfrom, Master of Archer Aslaug The Last Valkyrie and Berserker Ragnar Lodbrok, the Legendary King of Viking, Remina have a brother name Caules, also mention Goredolf

- Look like Germanic Age of God end the same time with Norse Age of God, at 1000 BC

Prologue

- The story begin with Ragnar kill a 3 meters humanoid Slav monster with very long hair and can run 500km/h, Remina think that it was summoned by enemy Caster

- Some description of Ragnar: playing guitar, ears with Ipod, listening to "Walking in Starlight" of 220 Volt, smoking

- The rest of prologue is about the story when Ragnar first meet Aslaug and married her but Fate version, I leave this for better translator.

He cannot be considered a homunculus. He's completely different, from how he was created, to function, etc. It's even in his profile, "From its gentle tone and graceful bearings, one would never guess that this is a “Noble Phantasm with a will” that possesses a fierce combat power." and "A tragic weapon that underwent many adventures as the sole friend of the King of Heroes and, after acquiring a human heart, returned to dirt as a doll." and "A weapon manufactured by the gods. Originally, it was “a clay work that could transform into anything” produced by the gods. It phantasmagorically changes its shape in accordance with circumstances. Its whole body is equivalent to a weapon of gods. However, it does not have the same mentality or emotions as people, and at first it was not all that different from a wild beast."
In Gilgamesh's profile in one of the games, it's also said "Enkidu is an autonomous weapon created from the clay of the gods.".

He has been called "兵器" so many times taht denying it and calling him something else doesn't make sense.

Was this ever stated? If anything, it was more like "if someone became a hero while using a gun, he could become a heroic spirit, but because the world became uniformized, this is unlikely to happen"

Q: If there are Heroic Spirits like Archer, who was summoned independent of time axis, is it possible for warriors from the future, who are loaded with modern weapons, to be summoned as Servants?

A:
Although modern weapons are powerful, it is difficult for the users of modern weapons to be classified as Heroic Spirits. The advantage of modern weapons is "anyone can use them as long as they were trained", thus it is difficult for the user to become a Heroic Spirit, whose definition is "the one and only". The users of modern weapons are faceless heroes. If there are indeed heroes who are loaded with modern weapons, the users will not become Heroic Spirits, as they are merely "experts anyone can achieve through sufficient training". The actual Heroic Spirits being worshiped will be the "greatest weapon of that era". However, for the weapon to become a Heroic Spirit in this case, it must harbour a soul.

Kinda. Humanity paradigm of existence is the Law of Consumption, it's not selfishness per se, it's just their nature. But humans still do "strange shit" like raising pets and etc - one of the things that got Koyanskaya mad AF.
What people often forget is this little part:
Counter Force [Others]
The Counter Force here is the safety device formed by the collective unconsciousness.
The prayer to avert the demise of mankind, Alaya.
And the prayer to extend the life of the planet, Gaia.
These are the two aspect of the Counter Force.
Both aspects have the goal of extending the existence of the current World. They will eradicate the factors that threaten to destroy the World at the moment of their occurance.
Both are aspects of the same collective unconscioussness, with the same goal.
