This is a matter of personal preference but I like these kind of explanations.
It takes something we know and adds a bit of mystery by not fully answering the new questions born from the explanation.
Even the characters in the show are theorising but at the end of the day the deed is done so there's no real point dwelling on it, at least not now.
Always seemed weird to me that Kurama sorta just died after Baryon and I just chucked it up to it being a new type of "death".
Now we got confirmation that it doesn't matter what happens as they'll just come back or continue to live in another piece of their chakra that's still alive. For example, half of Kurama dying and staying dead with Minato and the other half living with Naruto.
Maybe Himawari's special chakra latched unto that tiny piece of kyuubi chakra, preventing even Baryon Mode from extinguishing it. That action brought back Kurama quicker than expected.

So is kurama saying:
1. Tailed beast have an excess beyond their body and their soul? Did hag create that excess for them or it's from the 10 tails? Could it be a fundamental concept?
2. Him and himawari are one being now instead of 2 souls in one body?

I think he just means thw soul/body grows back and they're reincarnated, technically as a different being.

Also, I just remembered Naruto originally had less that 50% Kurama, because of Kinkaku and Ginkaku, so Full Kurama should actually slightly upscale off of 2x that. Not that it's significant enough to matter.

Is this type 8 immortality?

I love how they showed the Infinite Tsukuyomi dreams, because most of them are really sad, but then Kiba's like "Yeah, I want to be top dog! WOOF!", Shino, the most serious man on the field, goes "Hehe... bug horse," Tenten goes "If only Lee was normal," and Lee goes "I wish Neji was alive so I could beat the **** out of him."

Would this not give the Biju Low Godly Regeneration over time? Cause he’s saying that even if the soul is destroyed they’ll come back.
no

because they aren't regenerating from a piece of themselves.

they respawn randomly even after the death of their body and soul.

thats reincarnation not regeneration.

Ressurection, not reincarnation.
Isn't ressurection treated on the same layers as regeneration?

Brothers what Kurama did isn’t regeneration. It’s resurrection, he ain’t getting any kind of regen for that. He’s getting an entire separate hax.
