Luffy's made of rubber and Misaka mainly uses electricity, so she does't have much to hit him with. She also only has town level durability so she'll go down after one hit. Luffy wins.

For the record, she's only 7-A in her Level 6 shift, where she's almost completely mindless and will spam nothing but thunderbolts and crushing energy.

From what i see, the only reasonable way she going to win is if she spamming the railgun and interseting it with those eletric chainsaw to pin him down or Using some metal rebar to tie him up and finally amass enough eletricity to bypass the nature resistance of rubber.

She doesn't have those in her 7-A form.

Well if we're talking about Luffy vs Level 6 Shift Misaka... Misaka would obviously win >.<... She was technically "immortal" because of the "Dark Matter" she infused herself during the shift... She created an Anti-matter ball.. powerful enough to "dismember" Touma's imagine breaker (Releasing the 8 dragons)... With "Real-World" physics... Misaka would be a walking nuke... What's preventing her from collapsing electron particles into the atom's nucleus? She even demonstrated a portion of this power by detonating oxygen molecules... I just think Misaka has more of an edge in her 7-A form or low 4-C form...

^Can you please explain her powers more and how do you think she might use them on luffy, while in character(but willing to kill) ,since i am completely unfamiliar with the verse

she isnt like DM-kakine, under the "DM-skin" there is still her normal body, here toumas touches her: http://www.***********.net/to-aru-kagaku-no-choudenjibou/64/11

and the DM-skin regenerates, but under it her real body can be seen:http://www.***********.net/to-aru-kagaku-no-choudenjibou/64/12

What's preventing her from collapsing electron particles into the atom's nucleus?
she never showed such feats so it cant be used :/

^the powerlevel she showed is basically her limit before getting her mind broken and whatnot,

plus, we cant say how much stronger she would become even if she grew stronger :/

She also has a very "Cheat" ability of targeting someone's organs and shutting them down at her will with Electro Magnetic Pulses... The tricky thing about facing Espers in the Toaru universes is that as an esper's power grows, their intelligence grows as well... In the case of Misaka, she can Outprocess a supercomputer and even hack one with her mind. They are the world's geniuses pretty much... There are also many espers like Shokuhou Misaki that has a very specific power... Even though her powers are not high-teir devastating, if the opponent cannot defend from her mind-control she definately wins... Matching these Espers with opponents can be very tricky because you need to keep in mind the other variables that can happen in a fight... Misaka can be very resourceful because of her very high intelligence... And ozone creation sounds badass btw... :3... Killing someone with too much oxygen is a very finesse way of doing it :3

The electro magnetic pulses shouldn't affect rubber, and as for her mind control powers. Could someone with great will power resist?

Misaka better not initiate ozone creation in close proximity or Luffy may fire up his redhawk and cause a massive exlposion that'll burn away the oxygen. Likelyhood of Luffy defending himself from the blast with his armament haki is very high, though this should solve his ozone problem.

He actually fought a scientist who did the opposite of the ozone creation. Luffy was being sufficated by lack of oxygen and came up with a stratigy to win against. That's partly why I'm pretty sure this won't work on him.

You made some interesting points.

Unfortunately for Mikoto, Luffy has a proven resistance to all forms of electric attacks (no matter how illogical that is, considering real life rubber properties) so she can't just use hax on him and only has hope in cutting him, which she doesn't have good chances to do as a mindless berserker. Luffy should take this.

Sure. But even though there's no real evidence of what I'm about to say; Luffy obtained his power from this Gum-Gum devil fruit to become a rubber boy (man now). Consider the possibility that his rubber properties are different from normal rubber.

Take note that sharp weapons tend to bounce off of Luffy while he's utilizing his Gear 4th mode.

I don't know anything about Misaka except from what I read here, so I won't say Luffy should take this. Though I hope he does.

First of all... She controls electrons... Rubbers are conductors because they do not let electrons to move freely in the substance... Nothing is truly resistant to all forms of "electricity" or "heat"...Electromagnetic pulses are bursts of electromagnetic ENERGY... these energy could be radiated, magnetic, or electric...plus... she doesn't solely use "electricity". She can control other good conductors such as iron etc. What I was talking about was her versatility in battle.. Plus... during her Level 6 Shift, Gunha, a High 7-A character couldn't even stand against her... And the only reason why she was "brainless" was because she was being mind-controlled...The reason why she came back to "reality" was because Touma touched her head negating the mind control... She can still be theoretically conscious while being in The Level 6 shift... She almost created a ******* black hole for ***** sakes >.>...

Well, Gunha's rating is from Misaka's lightning, not the other way around.

Second, while your logic would be sound in real life... Luffy's rubber doesn't follow those physics (apparently) and he simply doesn't conduct electrical attacks all that well.

Plus, you say that Misaka could be conscious, despite the fact that she's clearly in a berserker state (she would never attack Touma unless she was particularly annoyed) and is babbling the Angelic language while undergoing the Level 6 Shift, meaning that she wasn't in control at the time.

it's electromagnetic "energy" it could be gass, nuclear, gravity, even baryonic. And as I said before.. she was Mindcontrolled through the Misaka Network

I also like that were talking about Luffy's "conductivity" when Misaka's main weapon is a railgun >.>... fml...She also got OP spidey senses, detonate molecules containing oxygen or hydrogen (or anything close to those elements for that matter) and can kill someone by making a tiny ozone layer and poisoning someone with hyperoxia... >.>

it is true that she was controlled but even without it, she wouldnt have the capability to stop herself, gensei himself said that her mind was about to transcend into a higher dimension, and that after 53% after the change began, she would have her mind shattered, during the entire transformation shedoesnt have the control not only because she was manipulated...

nope, it was misaki stopping gensei, kuroko stopping the liquid-shadow-girl, and touma stopped the transformation, only after turning back did mikoto gain control over her body again :)

that is a big if, we cant say that for sure...

nope, it was something more similar to accelerators black wings, simply in a different look(a sphere of black dark matter instead of wings), it was nothing close or similar to a black hole

Luffy wins this only because Mikoto's Level 6 Shift form doesn't really allow her to use her intelligence, otherwise she would win with mid-high difficulty due to running circles around Luffy in terms of tactics and versatility.

First, the Small Island level AP comes from the initial moments of the transformation, and she quickly got much stronger, undergoing two more transformations. If the battle went on for a little while she would also become able to oneshot Luffy.

Second, in Level 6 Shift form she also has energy manipulation, so Luffy's resistance to electricity would be worthless, as she would quickly realize this and change tactics. She could also cut him with iron sand or arc fusion blades, or try to asphyxiate him with ozone.

Third, she would be able to use her weird lightning teleport-like thing consciously, alllowing her to keep distances with Luffy.

Last, even Luffy's resistance to electricity won't do him that much good, because Mikoto's electricity mainly works as real electricity. She has already fought an enemy with a isolating barrier that completely blocked her electricity. Solution? Just keep using electricity, even if the enemy resists it the heat accumulates. So Mikoto could just melt or cook Luffy alive.

She can still manipulate iron sands, gravity manipulation, ionization, and combustion to fight if electricity doesn't work... Thinking about it though, her "Berserk" state may actually prove beneficial to her... The only reason why she doesn't use her other hax abilities is because she doesn't want to kill anyone... So far in the series, she hasn't killed anyone yet... In her Berserk state however, her morality goes right out the window...

Yeah it gets very confusing when the author adds fictional elements to the story... Will it be somewhat closer to be Dark Energy then? or some form of antimatter? It would just take a huge amount of power/energy to completely overpower Touma's imagine breaker...
