Using speed of lightning has been rejected by multiple calc group members.

Wait, wait, wait, hold on a sec...
Why are ALL Vol. 3 characters (including Vol.3 RWBY) scaled to Sun who did the feat several months after the first season?
If we assume that Sun got a power up after the time skip (which is BS) then only Vol. 4 (or 5, i don't remember when the feat occured) chars should scale to it.
If he didn't, then I'm inclined to call it an outlier, 'cause it comes from a fodder and the whole verse scales to it (pretty much like it was with Bayonetta)

Looked for literally 15 seconds and saw:
"I support Ay scaling from mach 3000 minimum but we can't use that number for sub-rel Minato, much as I want him to be so."
Also, the only thing in thread that made him lightning speed was scaling to Kirin which cannot be used for the calc.

And if you boothered readding to the bottom you would know that we are using mach 1200 as the speed to calc minato's reactions from.

@Blue exactly which is why the speed of lightning (mach 1200) not the speed of Kirin (mach 3000) is used as the minimum in the calc, I swear you are not reading what I am typing.

Never said it mattered. If you could debate maturely, that would also be appreciated.
First just means that it has lightning properties
Second one isn't related to lightning speed.
Third one isn't really relevant. How fast a character is doesn't influence how we judge their other speed feats. The lightning bolt is the one that needs to follow the criteria of the Lightning Dodging Feats page.

Given Mach 3000 can't be used due to "Calc-Stacking", we can use our speed of lightning as, even without the calc, raikage still blitzed someone who could react to lightning. It's that simple and its the same method Gwyn and others used that downgraded Bleach's speed which was accepted.

I'm writing a downgrade, but while that doesn't happen, Mercury and Emerald's feats are only Mach 300, which is 10x lower than what Minato'd be.

I don't think Sage Minato should have been used. He admitted himself that he's bad with senjutsu. It takes too long for him to mould chakra, doesn't last long, and he has never used it in a real fight.
