Lissandra wanted this yeti in particular to be tamed

By a specific song she spent years looking for

Yeah Willump has something huge to do with the Watchers

"In that moment, the guardian knew the Freljord's only hope lay in the power already within this child. The magic he'd been guarding was a tool; what truly mattered was the heart that would shape it. With a gesture, the magic passed from the gem into the boy, giving him the ability to make his imagination real. To repair his flute, freezing it in dreams that hardened into True Ice."

Woof, okay, so Ice manip via reality warping, he creates true ice with this, which willump shows several times to easily be able to destroy, and anything nunu thinks or dreams of becomes real in true ice (basically anything up to High 6-B he can think of, it becomes real)

"But Willump knows that with magic and dreams come responsibility. One day the games will end, as the dark ice at the heart of the Freljord thaws, and thaws…"

Nunu's power will eventually have to be used against the Watchers

And i still want to discuss Mega Gnar being tier 6 for breaking true ice created by Anivia

>Stated in his lore that he holds immense latent power that would later be used to fight lissandra

>His interaction with Ornn specifically is about how his mom taught him to forgive his brother even though he has none

>States that his caravan would always follow anivia but his mom was never there to see her

>Has the ability to manipulate true ice just like anivia

>Stated that his mom told him that no matter what she'd always come back

"Beyond the material plane, outside and somehow below it, lies the unknowable abyss. It is the realm of the Void, where no mortal or immortal creature may ever walk. It is not necessary to know how such a place ever came to be, nor why—only that it did. The Void is eternal. The Void consumes all.

In that place, in the cold, endless dark, all is equal and empty. For timeless eons, there was purity in that fact. There was peace, if such a term could have any meaning there.

...

The boldest of them tore open the veil and hurled themselves upward, only to be horribly disoriented by the sudden shift between the abyss and the corporeal, linear nature of reality. In an instant, there was time, and heat, and pain..."

More proof of the Void being timeless

"Then, something changed. Not in the Void realm, but elsewhere. It was existence, it was... something, where before there had been nothing, and its mere presence scraped against the vast, cold, formless entities that drifted in the blackness. Before this, they had not even been fully aware of their own sentience, and yet now they knew that they could not tolerate the presence of this other place; this other-realm of mercurial, overwhelming creation.

...

And soon enough, the Watchers found themselves being scrutinized in return. The tiny, mortal minds that reached out to them were insignificant, little more than fleeting motes of light at the very edges of the abyss. Yet, in them, the Watchers saw a chance to invade the material realm, to destroy it, to silence the intolerable pulsing of reality beyond the Void.

The boldest of them tore open the veil and hurled themselves upward, only to be horribly disoriented by the sudden shift between the abyss and the corporeal, linear nature of reality. In an instant, there was time, and heat, and pain..."

Voidborn in the Void are incorporeal, formless beings

"Among them, one stands apart. As perhaps the oldest surviving Voidborn, certainly existing the longest outside of the abyss, he has been known by countless names to those unfortunate enough to encounter him. Thousands of years before Icathia unleashed the Void in battle, the primitive cultures of Shurima feared the devil Vel'Koz, who crept forth from the underworld to steal the dreams of wiser men. Though his name has no literal translation in the modern tongue, it equates roughly as "to understand by unmaking."

Vel'Koz is over 5000 years old

"His insatiable hunger for knowledge has led Vel'Koz across the world, to its highest peaks and darkest depths. Cunning and methodical, he has quietly watched entire civilizations rise, stagnate and decay, spent centuries combing the ocean floor for its secrets, even scrying the movements of the stars in the heavens above him."

Vel'Koz doesnt need oxygen

"I heard only one other voice, and turned. I could only watch as Afron, a youth of barely sixteen, struggled beneath the monster. Bathed in harsh violet light, he writhed as one of its appendages sank into his skull through his eye. His screams stopped as he became a mere husk, like all the others."

Vel can target specific parts of the brain in order to make targets go catatonic

"—as I work. The analysis can inflict physical pain, should I desire it, but that is not critical here. I have learned much of pain, and its uses."

Vel can control whether or not his opponent feels pain

Voidborn should have type 5 immortality. Really.

They aren't alive by default, but they "learn" to be alive when they come.

Type 5 in their realm yes but its lost as soon as they enter the mortal realm

Technically they could get nonexistent physiology as well

Welp, the Void is described as nonexistence now. It refers to anything else as "Existence". So they aren't alive or existent by default/inside the void.

Once they reach the "mortal" realm, they learn to exist and live there and

"With her sight taken, Lissandra chose instead to walk in dreams. As she navigated the fitful visions of those around her, she realized only she could see the darkness below for what it was: the lingering abyss promised not only an ending, but infinity.

...

Now, they wandered through Lissandra's dreams as easily as she had theirs, and always she would wake, terrified, professing her loyalty to the chilling eternity they promised."

Lissandra can move through dreams

"The three sisters and their most powerful followers were named Iceborn. Those with this ability to withstand the worst of the numbing frost would be spared until the very end."

Liss has ice/cold resistance

"A spiderweb of cracks appeared upon the surface, as the darkness within redoubled its attack. With her eyes closed, Halla didn't see it, and Sigvar was too far away, even as he lurched to his feet and drew his sword.

Olar was suddenly at Halla's shoulder, Thunderchild clasped in both hands. Just as the darkness breached the pillar's surface, spearing towards Halla with the speed of a lightning strike, Olar shouldered her aside."

Hmmmmmm...

"Sigvar sheathed his blade and picked up Thunderchild, bracing for the pain. It made him gasp, the intensity of its cold flowing swiftly up his arms to his heart, almost making it stop, but he did not fight it. He embraced it, becoming one with it."

Weapons of True Ice cause immense pain to the wielder if they arent strong enough and are so cold that touching it can make your heart stop

"He could feel its malign force working on him, straining at his consciousness, like clutching tendrils. It was watching him—that giant, lidless, unblinking eye boring into him from below. The urge to look down was overpowering. Sigvar tightened his grip on Thunderchild, gritting his teeth against the pain of its cold."

More mind manip from being near the void

"Using a knife, Sigvar cut away the bloodied sleeve over Halla's injured arm. The flesh around the wound was dark and steaming. Blackness was already spreading into her veins. Both of them knew what could happen, if that darkness were to spread any further."

Just being damaged by a voidborn causes corruption in biological life

I mean...

A newborn Voidborn was able to break out of a shell of True Ice...

And then nearly killed an Iceborn...

Okay, so to sum it up:

All Voidborn get nonexistent physiology, incorporeality, and type 5 in their original Void form, as well as the ability to spread the effects of what Void energy does through physical damage

Vel gets an age, the ability to survive without oxygen, biological manip by altering his target's brain, and pain manip by controlling whether or not his opponent feels pain when he attacks them

Liss gets dream manip

All iceborn get ice/cold manip resistance, as would Gnar and Olaf

We'll wait on the tier change for the Voidborn until the story about the world rune comes out

Also Xin Zhao now canonically links the fact that the Cosmics and Dark Stars have and do fight each other

Also also should Sol get spatial manip seeing as he sealed a Void Rift wihch are tears in the very fabric of reality?

Also Diana and likely the other Aspects, as well as the Ascendants and the Darkin would get a resistance as well, as would Rengar

God damn

would that not be limited reality warping? Fixing fabric of reality does not seem possible for spatial manipulation. After all not only space is affected.

"Pantheon bellows once more, and this time, I cannot resist. The crude enchantment regains sovereignty over my will. I turn my attention toward the source of the breach, nestled in the basin of the once-verdant valley, now strangled with creeping, purple miasma. I sense the Voidborn perversions of life tunneling through reality's firmament, sending tides of unseen energy coursing through the aether. They shred the veil that separates nothingness and form with their unwelcome passage. "

...huh, how did we miss this?
