Kakashi and Sasuke's speed "Higher with Chidori" / "Higher with Raikiri" Removal

I've responded to this argument several times now. It should just be higher with the Sharingan. The Sharingan is the reason they can rush at full speed directly toward an opponent while others can't.
No.
Kakashi didn't even have the Sharingan when this was stated

Half the lore of the jutsu is how fast it is
It makes very little sense to hype a jutsu for its speed if it's at a level the user has been operating prior

As said multiple times during the thread, it matters very little if Chidori itself boosts the speed of the character.
What we do know and can see, is that the characters in question displayed speed a level above whatever they were doing before whenever the Chidori is in use.

It's her fastest jutsu. She was looking through her jutsu arsenal
Then why didn't she say Jutsu?
Anyway, the matter is not worth this entire discussion.
That you started.
Chidori isn't recognized as a speed boost by the majority of people
Yes it is, but also that doesn't matter.
who have seen the show
Not canon, manga >
outside of here,
If these hypothetical people want to talk, they can hop on.
and I've never seen anyone use this as an argument that would make a difference in a fight because it can't be used.
While this part of your statement is incoherent, I understand the meaning, and it's irrelevant.
This can continue as one of many other inaccuracies I've noticed in many pages on the site due to lack of knowledge from the members on the context and misinterpreting scans.
Crazy that you hopped in complaining about shit you knew nothing about and starting whining like this when people consistently proved you wrong. The people who put time into making profiles are actually doing good work, and I'd kindly have you not disrespect them.

Should just be higher with Sharingan. They can safely move at max speed at the opponent only while the Sharingan is activated. That makes way more sense.
I just gotta say, this is nonsensical. The Sharingan boosts reaction speed, that's true. But it was never shown nor implied, not even once, that Sharingan makes someone physically faster. Even if Sharingan does make Sasuke move faster, evidently he never used a higher level of speed with his Sharingan except when he used Chidori. And thus even if your argument is true, only Chidori will get the higher rating.

Also a hot take here, Chidori should get a "far higher" instead of just "higher". Chidori is stated multiple times to require a Sharingan to be used properly due to its speed. This requirement isn't present for Body Flicker Technique, a speed boost so extreme it makes the user look like they're teleporting, and is commonly used by every ninja worth their salt. Nor is it present for Raikage's lightning Chakra cloak, which we know is a massive speed boost. Chidori's speed boost could be larger than Body Flicker or LCM

Hmmmm.....
It's a full speed attack that requires a special eye to be able to see through counters due to the immense speed being used.
It has SPEED and destructive power. Literally makes you move so fast that it narrows your focus and gives you tunnel vision.
Allows Sasuke to match and beat PT Gaara to the punch, even though he was struggling to keep up beforehand and went as far as calling him a "monster".
.......And so on, and so forth.

Like the others have repeatedly said, whether the technique actually boosts these people's speed or not is utterly inconsequential and irrelevant.
The fact of the matter is that they ARE moving at speeds they never would normally while using Chidori. Speeds that are completely unmanageable in combat situations without the Sharingan greatly boosting one's perception and reaction speed due to the tunnel vision effect it creates.
Mind you, this is an issue exclusive to the Chidori. These people use speed enhancing techniques such as the Shunshin no Jutsu without any such issues, despite the difference in speed often being enough to literally go FTE to comparable characters...
The same could be said for the Substitution Jutsu. (But, honestly, let's not get into the SJ. It's more trouble than it's worth lmao)

So, again, whether it's a speed boost or their full speed that they simply can't use normally doesn't actually change anything. The result is the same. They are moving at speeds far higher than they are normally capable of moving at. They get "higher with Chidori" simply because they are, as a matter of fact, moving at speeds higher than normal. It is that simple. The method with which said higher speed is achieved is entirely irrelevant.

As a result, this threads gets a hard no from me.
