If you were/are writer, how strong would/did you make your Verse?

If you wanted to get into using the godly regens but not have them be broken, you could give a character the specific ability to negate regenerative abilities, or powernull, etc. I can understand not wanting to do that though, since I don't know the overall scale and personality of your verse.
My verse has important healers kind of follow a philosphy wherein death is determined only by the point after which a patient cannot be saved by any medic. In other words, it puts regenerations on levels Mid and beyond at the realm of Ressurrection, basically "Ressurrection through Regenerationn".

But yes, Regenerationn denial can be a thing, especially with magicians. But rather than denying it I'd most likely have it slow down tremendously, to the point where even blood coagulation would be so nerfed that nearly any cut could result in the victim bleeding out if unaided. I don't like to put absolutes as they always feel sort of broken.

...although I did create a couple of space manipulation users who can create unbreakable barriers through an ability called "Dead End" wherein they cut the path between two points and create a 1 planck length thick wall which anything with mass will be blocked and anything without mass will be reflected from. Well... :v

Mine would have all of its characters at least Memetic Tier or beyond, for example, it would have Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee. It would also have Joseph Stalin and Emperor Hirohito too.

But seriously, I would have a verse that has a civilization at the tier of at least High-1B and would have the ability to destroy googols (10^100) of Infinite-dimensional Hilbert Spaces daily. Then it will make the universe when it ascends to abstract existence, it would be at least High-1A and would be able to transcend every concept including the concept of concepts, though it would not be omnipotent.

This... looks broken. Suggsverse-style broken.

I mean not Suggslevel of brokenness, but rather the same "kind" of brokenness: wherein something is inserted into a story just to be ridiculously overpowered and broken, regardless of how useful it actually is to the storytelling, what message it can give or whatever. Written first as overpowered, then as part of the story.

Why not try to give them a purpose and giving their level of power a reason to be exactly this high? I kinda wrote my Hayyoth into 4-B with this intention, but as a civilization they're supposed to show what it means for a life form to treat humans like amazingly lesser beings, what it entails and how it would happen, with the tier being one at which they can be indeed viewed as a race capable of waging war and conquering entire universes and that make sense (4-B is the tier of the god tiers of Dragon Ball Z. It doesn't take much to understand that a race with its number of individuals several orders of magnitude above that of humanity and that being just their physical tier, technology and artifacts stolen from other universes going far beyond, would be able to conquer countless universes quite easily).

If you want to make a bunch of complicated shit to be overpowered, make sure if fits on the story; one example I can give is Gurren Lagan; it is a really overpowered verse, to a point ins which it gets ridiculous, but that's fine, because the entire point of the show is to be ridiculous and cool, so when you get to the galaxy sized robot, I wasn't even questioning anything anymore, I was just having fun with the big explosions.

There are ways to make this work if you do it right, but it's not easy, it has to fit the tone of the story, or else it will ust be out of place.

I actually once thought about writing a story like this, which is super exaggerated just to be cool.

One of the main characters would have a forcefield as durable as 20,000,000,000 universes (no space-time involved, so instead of 2-B, it's just a ridiculous end of 3-A, because when it gets to Tier 2, the hax gets so ridiculous that AP almost doesn't matter, so I want to keep this on 3). There's another one with precognition that can see an infinite amount of different futures in a second and pick the one they want, even if the chance is infinitely smaller than 0%. Another one has Law Manipulation that can simply say to the opponent "You can't [insert thing he doesn't want them to do]", and then they suddenly can't do it. There's a 10-C with universal time hax. There's another character with Godly Regen (not sure if I'll make is High-Godly, but it will be Mid-Godly at least). Also, they live on a trailer made out of giant some pieces they found in someone else's trash, the trailer is pulled by a ton of toy remote control cars; also, they have a pet turtle, and the turtle has a microscopic sized universe inside her eye.

Basically, it was specificaly made to be a bunch of BS, with nothing serious about it; I don't have anything written on it, and if I ever write it, it won't be anytime soon, since I'm working on something else now, but who knows, maybe I'll get into it someday.

That sounds like Downstreamers but stronger.

I wanted to have a character named Jidai (who trained Samael and the Swordswoman, who in turn trained the Assassin and Herigold) that was meant to be the firstborn of all sentient entities, higher-dimensional or otherwise, and who eventually evolved beyond all limitations and skills to become capable of literally anything anyone else could do. Basically my answer to Ajimu Najimi.

Basic method of use:

What powers does character A have?

Jidai developed them first, has had infinite lifetimes to perfect them, and has become utterly immune to them so GG. Essentially NLF the character.

He's still a part of the story, just not his original, omnipotent self

I would make Goku and Itachi 1-A, just to make everyone that isn't a biased fan absolutely pissed.

But in all seriousness, I would probably create a bite sized human civilzation located in a house's backyard where the main threats to their civilization are common pests like ants and flies. The god tier enemies would be the humans. The main characters would do things like create aircraft and shelters out of leaves, swing on spider slik, fight territory wars, launch pieces of woodchip as weapons, etc. The lower tiers would be 10-C, and the main characters at the end would be 10-A end of series, able to fend off the insects, rodents, house pets, and humans with relative ease.

So, he is like a weaker clone?

@Jordan
There's this whole backstory about how he got lonely at the top, so he trained legions of other "omnipotent" beings as his students, who oversee all realities.

The Swordswoman and Samael were his latest progeny, and the first ones he actually began seeing as his children rather than tools. But before they even came close to finishing their training, his first and strongest student rebelled and began slaughtering all the others Kylo Ren-style, so he had a massive apocalyptic battle with them that tore most of existence to shreds.

After sealing away his student, Jidai is struck with remorse for failing to see those lesser than him as people rather than simple objects for all those years, and willingly strips away his own memory and banishes himself to the universe that the main story takes place in to let the multiverse put itself back together without his interference.

He will meet the protagonists and act as a quirky, Speedwagon-type character. With nobody in the universe, himself included, realizing the nigh-omnipotent superorganism of pure cosmic might that he is.

But then Samael and the Swordswoman notice that his presence feels a bit familiar...

@Joan

Isnt this just like Son Goku from God of Highschool

and well... I am recreating the Dragon Ball X.

Anyone wants a character to go into the at least 2-A rating? I accept any anime character that I know about, doesn't matter how weak the character is, even fodder tier will be at least low 2-C

Yeah it is kinda similar.

I want there to be a line about Sun Wukong, Ra, Amaterasu, Quetzalcoatl, and the like being some of his dropout students who only completed the bare minimums of their training and then ran off to go care for humanity

Low 2-C Saibamen with incomplete Ultra Instinct, pls.

Actually, make them act like hives which are a single entity with many bodies, so their profiles on wiki will be like a single character as an army of Low 2-Cs with incomplete Ultra Instinct and incridibly coordinated group combat that makes them be stated capable of damaging even those who can destroy several or few ten of universes at once even though they individually can only destroy one size-variable universe per blow, allowing each hive to be pitted against characters in the 2-C tier and win.

Then have Chuck The Cyber Cu... I mean, Goku Black be At Least 2-A, potentially commanding multiple hives to attack/make an empire in the complex multiverse 'u'

I mean, there is more than just one kind of Saibamen, I always thought they were like that because you know, since they are kind of a plant, they need to grow and shit.

and few ten of universes... Isnt that already 2-C? Wait nevermind, I just read the whole comment for once.

HEHEHEHEHE

I've never seen variations on Saibamen types tbh. If they're born 5-B and grow stronger, shouldn't they fodderize saiyan saga Vegeta at the very least? Wouldn't it be more economic for Frieza to just grow a billion of them and use intelligent races just to do intellectual work for him, since they would be at least 5-A? Oh, well. :v.

But yeah, they're supposed to be, like, hazards to Zen'oh. You could make them immune to Hakai from even all GoDs together and imply that even Zen'oh can't erase more than a few dozen of them at once, allowing a hive to fodderize them.

Goddamnit, CursedGentleman, now I'm totally imagining how this would work out! The hive is a single organism and has UI because each of its individual Saibaman is telepathically connected. Their individual intelligence is less than animalistic, insufficient to keep their bodies functioning, but by connecting in this way they can exponentially increase their capacity to process information and apply nearly all that to sensory and fight related stuff to defend the hive. Should any less than ten be left alive at any time, they will hibernate. If a single one is insulated, it will fall into a vegetative-like state and slowly die. However, when dozens are together they connect their senses and thoughts and are able to do the best moves possible while uniting all their senses, thus being not too inferior to a mastered ultra instinct and having "Ultra Instinct Omen Teamwork" which allows them to work together with the prowess of UI, making them a huge pain to fight against.

Then maybe you could add some poisons that bring down the enemy's stats exponentially over the course of minutes so that any enemy that wouldn't OHK the entire hive anyways will slowly...

  • ahem*
I leave the writing to you. Got quite enthusiastic right now. :p

I have a 1-A character in my mind. I am not quite done with the lore behind him and his role in the story, but he is based around the idea of "nothing coming after death"...anyone interested in learning more about him?

To be honest, i wont make em too powerfull, but at least have a decent amount of abilities, and it depends too, but mostly just 8-C, just scaling my characters to a feat, which is Vaporizing Trump's Wall, i have no idea what tier that is, anyone giving me a clue?

I actually managed to write most of the second chapter of that story I meantioned (the one with the frog, that I was stuck on chapter 1); I was going to put a 9-A/8-C explosion on it, but I scraped it because I had a better idea, so the characters are still 9-B.

Vaporizing a 2.6k mile long wall is definitely a lot more than 8-C.

I already have hundreds of 2-A characters in a story I've written(only 14 chapters out).Just based on scaling and what is known about the verse(There are , at the very least, hundreds of gods, and gods scale above a 2-A character).

The 2-A thing is a little bit of a spoiler, but it doesn't matter too much in the grand scheme of the story anyway. Relevant characters are nowhere near that powerful.

Assuming it's made of only whatever we get our value for vaporization from, and it's 30 feet tall (Trump started with 10-20 feet and has said it got 10 feet taller on several occasions), 1m thick, and has no base to it underground or watch towers anywhere, it's mountain level. Realistically, the feat is probably much higher, since reinforced concrete has a much higher boiling point and latent heat than what our vaporization value comes from, and it's probably bigger than my estimate. I'd bet on island level.

thanks,

so this means that most of the characters imma create, i would have 7-A, possibly 6-C tiered, going by Subsonic speed for the blast, not like it matters since vaporization wont really rely on speed, but yeah, i would never think of this, but it happened,

For the hax, i would probably have some with Disease manipulation, Hole Manipulation, Flight/levitation, yup, you heard it, hole manipulation, be beware if your character doesnt know how to avoid holes, because thats 1 of the Main attacks for 1 of my characters

6-C sounds right.

@BattleReviews

Hole Manipulation

I'm not gonna make the joke....I'm just gonna say that I could have if I wanted to....

yeah, the hole could be used as portals which can transport 1 thing to another place where the hole is,

I'm just saying you don't need an entire new power of hole manip lol.
