Hyperdimension Neptunia General Discussion Re;Birth3 Victory Generation

Just finished Batman Arkham City (Return to Arkham) and I'm looking for something else to play now. Well, I own a lot of the Neptunia games now, just never got around to playing them yet because, y'know, family friendly.

I guess I have a lot to look forward to then judging by that scene.

Anything I should brace myself for? Should I start from Re;Birth 1?

I'd suggest to start from RB1, yes. It's in a different dimension (the Superdimension) than the next main games, but it introduces the characters way better than the other games. The main storyline (in the Hyperdimension) starts from RB2. RB1 is still canon despite this.

In Japan they're considered family games tho

Re;Birth 1 for gameplay if you don't have VII.

And in history Re;Birth 1 as well or Re;Birth 2, they made a complete mess in Victory/Re;Birth 3.

So I should start out with Re;Birth 1 and 2, brace myself for a bit of disappointment in terms of story for Re;Birth 3, and then immediately get going with VII.

Got it.

Re;Birth 3 is more polarizing than anything, so you should see by yourself if you find it a disappointment or not (they did make some errors characterization wise, but it's not really that bad, I liked it actually)

>Height

There is no official height. I already have two differents ways to calc it, I will need it's height to calc the earthquake that happened in RB2:

-Use the picture of the basilicom and pixelscale it using a bulding close to it assuming it have the standard size of a bulding.

-See the differents in size between the skyscrapers in the years of 1980 and 2010, since Ultradimension was stated that it was Gamindustri of the 80' and I have it's height.

>Speed

No, if the cloud expands equally then you need to use the radius.

Look what Kepekley23 said here.
Aight then. Time to rescale.

Rei ryghts storm

Same deal as last time, Basilicom is 196 px, and the storm is 1289 px, the portion of the building I scaled is 33 px.

It looks like just a regular building and not a skyscraper (although the building looks pretty tall), and it seems to be displaying only half of the building, so I'll assume 15 stories. inb4 alex butts in agai

A story is 10 feet or 3 meters. 3 * 15 = 45 meters.

196 / 33 = 5.9393939393939393939393939393939

5.9393939393939393939393939393939 * 45 = 267.27272727272727272727272727273 meters

1289 / 196 = 6.5765306122448979591836734693878

6.5765306122448979591836734693878 * 267.27272727272727272727272727273 = 1757.7272727272727272727272727273 meters or 1.7577272727272727272727272727273 kilometers

1.7577272727272727272727272727273 / 2 = 0.87886363636363636363636363636365 kilometers

Height of a cumulonimbus cloud is 13 km.

Volume = 31.55 km^3

31.55 * 1e+9 = 3.155e+10 m^3

Cloud density = 1.003 kg/m^3

3.155e+10 * 1.003 = 3.164465e+10 kg

878.86363636363636363636363636365 / 5.15 = 170.65313327449249779346866725508 m/s

3.164465e+10(0.5) * 170.65313327449249779346866725508^2 = 4.607855315947e+14 joules, or 110.13038518037763 kilotons of TNT. Barely above baseline Large Town level.

Unless you want to calc it for fun, I'll explain why it's useless even if the anime was canon

In the game Rei makes a 2-C storm. If we were to use the anime feat, what sense would it have to scale them to 7-A from Rei while at the same time scaling from her at 2-C?
Was that CPU Rei or base Rei who made the 2-C storm?

Dating Sim with Steamax as the protagonist ovo

True end if you follow the Uni route

How can it even be considered canon with all the inconsistencies in relation to the games? At best it could be another dimension, so it would still be irrelevant to the main storyline

"What the HELL is HAPPENING?!" - Iffy

This is one of the two quotes I know from the entire series (along with "Neppin' you Black and Blue), but it perfectly describes what my reaction is looking through the recent posts.

Welp.

oof

Before I forget, if you're thinking about watching the anime, do so only after playing RB3, or it would spoil the entire game for you. Also two DLC characters for RB1 are technically a spoiler, but if you already know who Iris Heart and Yellow Heart are then it's fine

Already on Episode 7, lol.

But to be fair, I have already forgotten about what happened in the entire anime apart from the beginning scene with Histy and Nep in the first episode.

But I'll take your advice nonetheless.

Btw:

Iris Heart? Yep, heard of her. (Obviously)

Yellow Heart? Nope.

You're still safe then, that would be the major spoiler. If you don't care about them then you can safely finish the anime, if not then I'd say to stop before it's too late and start it again after RB3, and be wary of RB1's DLCs, the characters themselves are spoiler (They're Plutia and another one I can't say)

I would go with the olds low, mid and high ends if there is no way to pixelscale one of the buildings from previous chapters.

Taking all the scans will take long... and when you find random chirpers saying something interesting, is when you realize that YouTube videos aren't enough...

Chirpers are the chibi version of the characters found on the world map that say random things
Screenshot (33)agr
This is chirper Dengekiko in RB1

It's actually Dengeki Lass

Yep, and the 4th wall breaking is so strong that it migh actually make the fact that this is a remake a canon thing ovo

Neptune Questions
I know that our shitpost is really important, I not joking about that, but are you sure that no other feat that you want to ask today?

And I'm still waiting your answer about the question I made for you.

Do you know how can we calc the RB1's end feat (the island moving thing) without a timeframe? If we can get the KE or some other value we could get an AP rating from this

Wait, which question? I probably missed that

Ah, my dear friend with bad memory, I already told you like three times what I'm going to do with this feat (you are not bothering at all, many of my friends have worse memory than you). The thing doesn't just don't have timeframe but the distance that they moved is missing as well. But this feat will help us to prove the variable tier for the people with shares as a suportive feat, don't worry.

Yes, I'm talking about THAT thread.

...yep, bad memory strikes again.

Isn't there a metod to calc the energy needed to move them?

Oh yes, I know what thread I actually need to save my pics for "convincing" Kal tho ovo

If you forget something you can ask me, you are not bothering me at all.

Yes, KE, but I'm going to lowball it to the absolute shit and use 1 m/seg for the speed and then insert some explications about what happened in the game. The things obviously moved faster that than of course, do you imagine how hard Neptune would launch in Arfoire face if the thing actually moved at that speed?

You don't have enough pictures to keep up with both things? Shame!

No, I meant without using KE. According to Kal a way should exist, but he doesn't know it

I actually have a lot of pictures, I just don't want to use too many of them for that thread

I think that I remember something like that as well but I need to investigate just to be 100% sure.

>Name the thread "The best thread ever made in the whole history of this wiki"

>Don't want to to use too many pictures on the same thread
