A person who was lying and to a person who doesn't even properly know his own speed? yeah, right. Also the negacion IS JUST LIGHT. It's stated twice and once in a guide to only be light. Not even spiritual or some shit, and their reactions to shit called light are consistent with each other. Shuhei reacting to the negacion is consistent with ichigo reacting with the first cero, they scale to it the same way.

cause he didn't. It's clear they can produce sound faster than sound throughout the fight, and author's intent doesn't really matter.
Examples of shinigami producing sound faster than sound:
1. Rose has a bankai that produces sound, yet affects people while moving faster than sound, and they can't dodge it.
2. People can fight and talk and listen to each other mid fight, second example of communication faster than sound being produced.
The statement is never said to be mach 500, it's said to be 500 times faster than the sound made by Gin clapping, who as I previously established, can make sound faster than sound. The "it doesn't count as light because it does not meet wiki standards of light statements" is legitimately just an appeal to authority, instead of a good argument to refute them being lightspeed. Specifically the negacion doesn't have any properties to make it different from light.

You know that statement you quoted of mine is funny and aged poorly. Because Black Clover now has like MFTL top tiers too, and I calc'd a databook statement that puts BC mid tiers at like multi-con as well, and can get top to god tiers to planetary ranges. So, Bleach top tiers vs BC top to god tiers is a far more interesting debate now.
