How do we treat Fighting Spirit in Demon Slayer against other verses?

So most Demon Slayer characters have Fear Manipulation and Paralysis Inducement thanks to their fighting spirit aura being able to overwhelm people, but the characters within the series with a stronger/comparable Battle Spirit are able to withstand that aura and resist its effects. Within the verse, it's also established that every human has a fighting spirit, including infants, and Akaza uses his Compass Needle technique to predict his opponents by detecting their fighting spirit. Based on versus threads I've seen, it's generally accepted that the Compass Needle works on people from other verses so would characters who are comparably strong/stronger than a fighting spirit aura user from Demon Slayer be able to resist the fear/paralysis in a matchup?

This thread is a bit old but I'm bumping it because I want an answer for this question as well.

Bump because I’m sick of the Fear/Parahax GG argument gatekeeping matchups, despite other matchups being let through regardless of the other character having resistances or not. Like either it’s applicable or it’s not, stop with this in between nonsense

Depends. If the other character has shown resisting fear hax to the same degree as your character, then yes, they can resist the fear hax.

I might be missing something but I thought the whole aura thing was specific for the demons having their whole blood ptsd thing?

I also would like a proper answer to this. Also this is not specific from Demon slayer there are many verses with stuff like this, stuff like killing intent, special powers aura ect that are based on determination:
Naruto: Kakakshi and Zabuza preparing to battle caused Sasuke to almost kill himself.
One Piece: Conqueror haki doesn't actually need supernatural will to resist.
Solo Leveling: The killing intent that causes the opponent to lose half of his power
Boku no hero: Stain's ability to cause fear and paralysis without using blood as his ability usually requires
I think Bleach and soul crush is similar and was a pain to establish how it would work on battles
Among lots of others

This mean it is a weakness of battle spirit that do not work on stronger opponents or we call it the famous Dragon Ball hax do not work on stronger opponents kind of thing

Still if someone can prove that Battle Spirit is something unique in verse only, like verse-specific power then it isn't a weakness. Still personally i think it is the former situation - the weakness, cause Battle Spirit thing is common among fictions and Demon Slayer characters just scare the shit out of people who weaker than them
