It is

However a more effective thing that Muzan has actually done and would be effective is just letting himself get reduced to chunks to Homelander's punch to splatter him with blood, before regenerating in another spot to wait him out.

Generally I think this is a mismatch, the fight really is just "man explodes into chunks but lives and man who punches him dies actually" and you can argue it loses the last component given Homelander's resistance to diseases, acids and the like but eh
Homie's Laser Eyes could reduce Muzan to char. Pretty solid wincon

Idk if the live parts are true considering the stat gap and that we list Muzan's regen as High-Mid and Homelander realistically is reducing it to pure paste so

Could but he usually stops using it before they just reduce to nothing, and Muzan could manually self destruct if he really needed to just bail.

Off of what, exactly? As I just mentioned, .950 JDJ is 52,000 joules compared to an average person having issues with 300, something like a train or a plane hitting a deer still leaves some solid matter behind (that's a YouTube link by the way, real blink and you miss it stuff)

Good point
That just makes it a stomp in the other direction

Whats stopping Homie from spaming Heat Vision?
His heat visions are concentrated.
if Muzan self destruct (he can since Heat visions often juts slice or melt through rather than completely melting someone entirely as a whole)
it will be more target for homelander to melt 1 by 1
muzan being able to regen from 300 chunks of his brain would make this difficult even of homelander spams heat vision
not to mention due to how fast muzan's regen he wouldn't get any rest.

Muzan's only chance is literally throwing blood into his face or nose or suck.

So just like most Demon fights
he simply needs to outlast him till sunrise and drag him out into the sun by leveling the entire new york city maybe.
Though Muzan is not a jobber and would probably Rat himself out until the sun goes down again which results in another long outlasting scenario

Muzan turning to ashes won't be instant as one Demon who has his blood managed to run towards humans while burning and also severely weakened after his fight with Tanjiro
