bruh... and this is PRIME RAYLEIGH too... the one that wasn't massively weaker than Roger...

Rayleigh slaps here with Haki, probably AP too.

Haki nulls Marco's regeneration and ignores his dura; Rayleigh has twice his experience and skill (Taught Luffy almost everything he knew after the timeskip. Garp, who knows the proficiency of legendary pirates, considered that a old and untrained Rayleigh would be a problem the Navy could not handle. Even Kizaru who is, in skill far superior to any other sailor of his time except for other admirals, was unable to defeat or dominate an OLD and UNTRAINED Rayleigh in combat).

Marco would likely have no significant advantage, since his focus is close range, and Rayleigh has, with his haki, a more notorious efficiency (Basically, all of his attacks would be reflected). Even Marco's flight wouldn't give Rayleigh any difficulties - his old version - could casually made air cuts and jump high to Kizaru in sabaody. Even in stamina, Rayleigh is superior to people who fights for 10 days (Considering his Prime form), and Marco debatably matches that as well.

Rayleigh with low-diff.

Anime-only.

We can't assume Rayleigh in his old age can fight for days on end. Even so, his Haki is undoubtedly superior to Marco's, and would tip the scales to his favor. He was capable of matching Kizaru blow for blow. Marco doesn't have the means to overpower Rayleigh's Haki defenses, or resist them.

Rayleigh wins this. Only reason I'd say it's a mid-high diff fight is because Marco's regeneration is still a factor here and would prevent him from suffering large amounts of damage for an extended period. It DID take King + Queen together to get him bloody, after all.

I don't think it's an easy fight. Marco has potential to win, but for what I said, it would be very up-hill. His only advantage is youth and regen.

That shows that both Rayleigh and Marco matched Kizaru, not that Rayleigh was above Kizaru. In fact, Rayleigh was breathing heavily at the end of his fight with Kizaru.
That's because he was old and was worrying about the straw hats

So basically they both performed the same way but one was actively trying to fight and the other stall. Rayleigh still would take it in that case.

~~either way this isn't old rayleigh cuz they used a picture of young Rayleigh lmao he shouldn't have all the same stamina issues~~

I didn't think there was a problem with the image, as Rayleigh doesn't have an "Old | Prime" key in her profile.

There is only old key...

Rayleigh and Kizaru were both holding back. Neither were using any notably strong Haki techniques, and Kizaru was restricting himself in melee.

Marco was fighting a casual Kizaru as well, but as far as we can tell, the former was actually trying.

Rayleigh (Using advanced Haki) > Rayleigh (casual) = Kizaru (casual) = Marco (who still resorted to regen to get any edge over Kizaru btw)

No, Rayleigh being casual isn't above Kizaru. Don't twist my words. They went even. Rayleigh got a surprise attack on Kizaru's cheek, and neither got the edge over the other after that.
Kizaru himself said this

which does mean he didn't fight casually with Rayleigh.

There is only old key...
"his advanced age has lowered his stamina reserves however, which becomes evident when he actually needs to put some effort into things [Such as when he got tired in his fight against Kizaru])"

Also he has a prime tabber, apparently, it just doesn't have any stats. Which... makes me question why it's there and not in the gallery, but it's there nonetheless and they mention his old age drains his stamina.

I disagree with this assesment. Kizaru's range game isn't that good when you consider Ray kicked a laser away and Marco intercepted them easily. Swordsmanship offers Kizaru much more flexibility when fighting and then there is the very strong likelihood he will be Zoro's next opponent which often means a fight heavy on swordsmanship. Also Kizaru was furious after the incident enough to take his anger out on wannabe pirates. He genuinely was trying by his standards.

Both able to travel at light speed, using kicks, both can fly and both are yellow 🤔🤷‍♂️
Both been with their commander since the beginning.

Strongest members after their boss

Both have Japanese motifs.

The former first mate of the pirate king was paired with him in battle and in name.

Rayleigh got close and redirected his leg. That's not range. Marco blocked one flurry from Kizaru with his initial mirror (which still resulted in him relying on regen), and he again relied on regen to get close to attack.

😑 he said that while getting cut... He was only like that because he acted the same way Marco did to him.
"while getting cut"? He got cut when he tried to use LS to get to Zoro and the others, not while he was crossing blades with Rayleigh. He made the comment because he was not expecting to fight anyone other than the Supernova who attacked the Celestial Dragons.

He came with the expectation to face and capture fledglings... the Supernova were only in their first year of activity, and were easy pickings for Kizaru. Suddenly Roger's Vice Captain shows up to help them. He wasn't expecting to have to fight anyone notable.
