Goku vs Saitama

Saitama building resistances makes perfect sense because that's already what's happening- whenever he runs into some ability/danger in his verse the point is that it doesn't affect him. Like so far he's immune to lava/temperatures, space, spiritual barriers, and has psychic resistance, etc. If he encounters more opponents with hax it'll definitely just fail.

Absolutely. Still, to contend in the tier OPM fans seem to expect him to be in at the end (3-A to 2-C) he'll need a lot of resistances, starting with causality, law and matter manipulation, and time manipulation, to name four extremely common yet extremely powerful ones at that tier. 3-A and 2-C are very inhospitable tiers for those without hax. Even Dragon Ball Super characters were having a tough time there at first, the sort of tough time a mosquito has in a spider web.

I can see Saitama getting resistance to time manipulation/related hax since he already pulls nonsensical things with his strength and speed. But I don't think Saitama will ever be able to resist casualty/law/matter stuff. And he'll always lose in skill.

Probably, yes. At best his resistances could end up being solid by tier 6 or 5 standards. Tier 3 is generally a horrible place to be in if you don't have really deadly hax. Anyway, we'll see what OPM's God ends up having, and any other creatures before it.
 
I saw goku vs saitama and grunted in displeasure
Had way to many encounters with people who believe saitama is boundless
But yeah, Goku outskills saitama
And i honestly don't see saitama ever catching a W against monkey boy unless we get saitama randomly bench pressing a multiverse XD

Unless Saitama gets an upgrade to Low or proper 2C and some serious resistances. Like if OPM God can bust space-time continuums and attacks Saitama with existence erasure, matter and reality warping, mind control, space-time manipulation, and more, and Saitama just "okay"'s it away.
 
Saitama could resist all sorts of bullshit like Concept/Law/Reality Warping/Physics/Space/Matter manip and it would still mean **** all, since Goku would likely brick him to death lol

to be fair, the moment he reach tier 2, he can resist all kind of things. without any offensive hax, he will be just a punching bag, like Xeno Goku back in the old day

they're both low hax'd and might be actually interesting
