Nah, grey demon dark nebula or snow also different than normal darkness demon do, it just special case for grey demon, the only who should scale only grayroad

It’s not implied to be anything except making the area dark, I mean the spell is literally called “Darkness”

We see the meteors come out of clouds in the night sky and we see that Camelot is still light out, so it’s just a bubble of darkness where you can see through to the stars and moon

Also, since darkness has gravity like ability (Meliodas used this to push down Zel + Esta) it could be possible that those meteors were pulled in with gravity while the moon and stars were illusions?

But the moon and the stars should be created then. Do you have other explanation about this? Moon MAY be possible since the SD can create a (dwarf)star and dk scales equally.

No the moon would just be visible due to the darkness blocking out the sun, just like how nighttime works
