I don't know it feels out of place, not helping the fact Jotaro is sharing the spot already unequalized.

He's actually in the spot equalized. Him and the other character would incon because the other character has no way to incap and Jotaro can't perminately kill her, even with RO.

@John Speed equalized is kinda standard because most fights would be a speed blitz otherwise.

Type 8 immortality relying on clones means Jotaro would have to rewrite all of them at once, not even taking into consideration some reside in space.
However,star platinum is 8-C and has time stop+ fatehax+RO to keep him alive
in theory,Jotaro could be beaten in a battle of attriction, since his stamina is superhuman (and altough it's missing from their profile) The phantom beasts are machines and can likely outlast him into exhaustion or starvation.
