Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest Discussion Thread: Post-Void Saga

Why isn't anyone talking about it yet? As it became known from the new chapter, it is Selena who is responsible for the fact that the magical power of the planet Elentyra is overflowing to excess. And as it was known earlier, if such a power had not been eliminated by the wizards, an explosion of unprecedented proportions would have occurred, probably all over Elentyra. Doesn't that give Celine already massive manipulations with the planet?

F = L / 4 * pi * d ^ 2, where:

F (measured in watts / m ^ 2) = energy / radiant flux;

L = luminosity (measured in watts);

d = distance (measured in meters);

So. To find F, we need to guess what the lux is.

Lux (from Latin lux - light; Russian designation: lx, international designation: lx) is a unit for measuring illumination in the International System of Units (SI) [1]. Lux is equal to the illumination of a 1 m² surface with a luminous flux of radiation incident on it equal to 1 lm. Accordingly, the following will be fulfilled: 1 lux = 1 lm / m2.

The wiki article (https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lux) indicates in the table that 32-130k suites = a clear sunny day. I will assume that we have somewhere 260k suites, since the Persians cannot see anything from the light and it occupies everything around.

But these are suites, and we need watts per square meter. To translate suites into this, we must multiply suites by 0.0079.

260,000 × 0.0079 = 2,054 W / m ^ 2.

Now d. Well, the distance here is the distance from the Moon to the Earth. Tobish 384403000 meters. This is the light FROM the Moon to the Earth. The light source is the Moon. This distance is the radius obtained, and the diameter is twice as large, 768806000 meters.

And you need to find L. It turns out that we have:

F = L / 4 * pi * d ^ 2

2054 = L / (4 * 3.14 * 768806000 ^ 2)

L = (4 * 3.14 * 768806000 ^ 2) * 2054

L = 1.5248377 × 10 ^ 22 watts and the same number of joules per second.

We take a couple of options. Shines for 5 seconds, 7.5 seconds and 10 seconds.

5 seconds: 1.5248377 x 10 ^ 22 x 5 = 7.6241885 x 10 ^ 22 joules, or 18.2222478489 teratons, Country Level (6-B).

7.5 seconds: 1.5248377 x 10 ^ 22 x 7.5 = 1.1436283 x 10 ^ 23 joules, or 27.3333717734 teratons, Country Level (6-B).

10 seconds: 1.5248377 x 10 ^ 22 x 10 = 1.5248377 x 10 ^ 23 joules, or 36.4444956979 teratons, Country Level (6-B)

Like I said, it won’t be impressive and even close to High 6-A

Oh yeah that brings up a point that no one has brought up yet, Selene uses moon light, which is you know the speed of light, so shouldn't Selene have SOL attack speed?

The light Selena uses is kind of magical. But at the same time it reaches from the moon to the earth in 1 frame. Doesn't it mean that soon there will be reforms of the speed of the higher echelons? It is likely that she will shoot this light. And more interestingly, is it possible to relate this as a confirmation of the speed of light of Sting

Yea I don’t think it matters if the light is magical or not because the light that she used still reached from the moon to there location regardless if it was natural or magical she still caused it to happen

Though idk if it’s able to be calculated or not or if it would scale to her attack speed or anything

I mean because the spell she uses seems more like Hax and I’m not sure if we give a attack/speed stat to Hax abilities

Why does the spell being hax have anything to do with it, I could shoot a laser that EE's the target and it crosses the universe in a second. That still would be a speed feat regardless if it EE'd the target or not.

Yea that’s true I just wasn’t sure if Hax ability’s are granted a certain stat on this site or not

I mean I agree we should wait before currently changing anything but I’m not try to push anything but if the arc ends without getting anything really special would she get speed of light via her BFR spell

Interesting... I didn't think of this.

Official Translations version of this scene makes it far more obvious that Lucy is denying the feels for Natsu
LrTXPbF.jpg

Does anyone else feel like the ice girl, Hakune, in her icy form (I don't know what to call it) looks like Shiva from Final Fantasy? Her super-powerful move is even called "Diamond ___" (yes, I know it's "Diamond Effect," not "Diamond Dust," but still)! No? Just me? Okay.

It's cool to see how she also has new powers. it might even be a big deal, especially if she starts summoning spirits.

Apparently Lucy is using acid against Natsu. So new resistance for Natsu iirc unless we consider poison (cobra's) and acid the same here

Poison and Acid Manipulation are two different abilities, so Natsu will get a new resistance

im sorry how is he resisting? hes still being hurt shouldnt we wait for the translation?
It's just a rough tls so it could be wrong, but if it's correct. Not instantly dying would be resistance to something, even if a little.

Anyways I'm interested to see who has Aquaresis key and if whoever has it will lead to an escape from Selene's grasp.

I'm for for the point in time where Natsu gets sick and tired of this nonsense and just pulls out a ******* glock to win a fight.
