Everybody Wants to Rule the World 5: ACF (Thread 4)

I put my left hand on Heketa's left shoulder and look at her in the eyes.

"Don't undervalue yourself, while you may not be a fighter, you have way more smarts than anyone here."

I wink at her.

"Besides, i can keep you safe and kick enemy asses at the same time"

I say with a reassuring tone of voice.

I ask him, looking puzzled
 
"Ah, right, so your world was different after all..."

I quickly carve a rough map of my Earth into a nearby tree trunk using Anubis. Hopefully this Earth hasn't deviated much.

"Right now we're here." I point to Rio, Brazil.

"Our destination is here, meaning we have to go across this ocean." I point to London, England.

"I'm planning to fly part of the way and swim the rest because I can't be exposed to direct sunlight. If you can't make it there on your own, I'll take you with me. Though, it might be best to stick together and I'm probably faster than you anyway."

"Hold up. I ca fight, I know martial arts. I'm just not physically strong enough to do any meaningful damage to the demons." Heteka says to Magnus.

She then looks at the man that she knocked out and begins searching him. She quickly finds a gun.

Uriel is unable to form a sphere of fire.

Anyone who is looking into the hallway is unable to see any demons.

Saika is unable to find whoever was there and thus doesn't bind anything.

Beerko discovers that she has no more booze.

The hallway isn't very broad, so Tset quickly reaches another wall, but when he cuts it he's suddenly pulled through it and a lizard-like demon tries to bite off his face.

Darkness in the form of claws, teeth, and tentacles suddenly bursts through the walls and attack the group.

When Silas tries to read the thoughts of one of the demons he finds himself in a dark area. There's nothing to see other than darkness in all directions, but then he sees someone else. A boy with brown haird and yellow eyes. The boy looks back at him and smiles. Then Silas comes back to his senses and finds himself being smacked around by a tentacle.

[@Crim you're mixing up Sonar and Thermal. I'll assume you meant to say Thermal, since you called him fire butler.]

"What did I just tell you?!" Thermal shouts.

"Yes we have other things to deal with right now." Diustre says.

Thermal's light reveals several claws appearing around the corner and from the holes Nanaya made. Demons are approaching walking against the walls and the ceiling.

"Well I'll be going ahead like usual. You guys should stay together." Thermal says to the others. Sonar nods.

Then flames ignite from his feet as he blitzes forward at incredible speeds taking a few demons with him.

The guard that punched Ted punches him again before being killed by Ted's barrage of attacks. The Ted can hear claws scraping against the floor and a low growl.

As Alexander keeps walking he suddenly finds himself sinking into the floor.
 
My body arches away from the beast as though I had suddenly gained a dozen or so new vertebrae, attacking it square in the face with the slap-like attack that proved effective on the one in that forest.
 
"So I'm guessing this is what happened to the Guard."

I materialize my wings and halo and fly above the floor.
 
"!!!"

I utilize Bo-Bup and immidiatly appear in-between Heketa and the darkness.

I use 8th Song: Beggar's Song Dance, utilizing Yeoui as a spear and swinging it in all directions extremely rapidly, to try deflect all incoming shadow appendages.
 
Rompot started to shoot the Darkness with his cannon

"Hey guys, i have an idea to end this beast, but it is kinda explosive. So, i can shoot Antimatter from my eyes, but i can't really control it and it can explode, but it will problaby kill this thing, so, what do you guys say?"
 
"Mh ... maybe I have a strategy that can help, but it depends on how many of you can become intangible!" I tell the rest of the group.

I then make a fighter jet out of dirt, with Master Spark as thurst, then just casually jump in.
 
"Comrade machine, you will have to use your shot at maximum concentration, I will take care of our companions making them intangible through gaseous form and leave this area to give yourself more free field"
 
"Uhhhhh, just a heads up, i am affected by the antimatter, and i don't know if my shield is able to hold up that, unless you can make me intangible, then i am ready to blast"
 
[I don't know if I wrote wrong, but I didn't mean that rompot should use anti-matter at maximum power, but that rompot should use it when he was concentrated enough,and without distractions]
 
"Well, i guess that it should work"

Rompot eyes than started to get black

"Ok Wizard guy, do your magic that i will do mine"

Antimatter than started to get out of his eyes uncontrollably, but it was just enough to just destroy the room that they are in
 
"All right, all those who have an intangibility evacuate the room immediately!" I say, to then approach Heteka.

"Don't worry, I'll turn you into a cloud of gas, don't worry ... it will be like swimming, all you have to do is go to the wall and go through a hole or a crack and leave as quickly as possible, stand next to me so I can cancel the spell "I say.
 
As the darkness enters the room the Saika wires are retracted and lash out at the darkness coming from the walls.

That's not going to work Koharu thinks as she looks at the robot

She slashes at the darkness along with her wires

"Why are you even tring ? The darkness is stopping us from using our powers, how can you two not have realized it yet ?"

I tell to the two of you while continuing to fight off the darkness limbs.
 
Beerko looks at her artificial intangible right arm get power-nulled out of existence. "...uughh." She groans before taking a swig, she then notices that her sake was power-nulled because why not. She sighs before taking out one of her emergency Bud Light can's, she cracks it open and starts chugging.
 
[In case you're waiting for something. You can just go ahead and use the intangibility now.]
 
"However we don't have time, go as fast as you can" I say to Heteka and then touch her on the shoulder and let her enter the gaseous form.

Then touch Magnus to do the same to him.

At first Cold of Cone is at full pwoer, but it quickly dissipates and several claws shoot out at Grondlir's arms.

Tset's slap knocks back the demon, but it quickly recovers and throws Tset with enough force for him to burst through a wall.

Magnus manages fairly well against the attacks of the demons, but he is unable to stop them all. Heteka is able to shoot down the attacks that get past Magnus however.

Silas is able to slice down most of the tentacles, but it feels as if something is moving along with him.

Koharu also cuts down several arms and tentacles.

Kabu somehow manages to escape.

Heteka stands next to Grondlier. "Yes yes, just do it!" she shouts before Grondlir acivates it.

Everyone in the room is able to safely become intangible before the the demonics bodyparts are annihilated.

Alexander is unable to get out by flying and he sinks just a little further. He can hear a loud "BOOM" somewhere else in the base.
 
Kabu sat there, jaw dropped, before laughing. "YES!" He shouted in victory. "Finally, I actually use my intellect for the greater good!"
 
Well, this sure feels weird.

I think about my new state of being.

Also this selective power nullification thing is strting to give me headhaces.

I stay close to the gas cloud that is now Heketa.
 
[Emh ... I wouldn't want to be the one who ruins the party, but the gaseous form is a mediocre type of intangibility, we resist the non-magical damage, we are not completely immune to damage, my idea was to escape from the cracks before the room explode ... don't stand there and not give a damn about the damage ... we are practically all dead, apart from those who are in spirit form]
