Everybody Wants to Rule the World 31

I go three blocks further and get out of the man's body back into the mirror world and head in.

Then I realise I've forgotten something so I fly back outside and pull out the man's soul and store it away, then go back inside again.

I float through the halls of the bank. It's a boring place and doesn't look much like it does in the shows.

In the shows, the villains always blow a big hole in the vault. So I raise my hand and the big metal vault door erupts off it's hinges, slamming into a security guard and squashing him. I collect his soul too, then fly into the vault.

The vault is filled with large tightly bound stacks of money.

I pull a few into the mirror world and carry them off, ignoring the rovits moving around in the real world.

I fly up to a rooftop and wonder what I'm meant to do with them. The villains never really got that far. The superhero normally shows up to stop them. I wonder why a hero didn't show up to stop me.

Maybe I could buy a lot of ice cream?

The robots begin taking away the stacks of money that haven't been stolen yet as they can't find the thief.

I buy some ice cream.

I had to possess a guy to do it because I think I would scare the shopkeepers if I tried to buy it myself.

This doesn't really feel that villainous to me.

Maybe I should try some other things villains do. Like holding people hostage for money ... but I don't really want the money...

Idly, I pop the guy's soul into my mouth as I eat the ice cream and it tastes a lot better.

Yum!

I eat the other souls I had stashed away. They're delicious! I should get some more!

Suddenly you find yourself surrounded by the police.

"Hands in the air! You're under arrest for the murders of Joe Joel and Aron Pice, robbing the Equalis Bank, and stealing the souls of civilians!"

The policemen die. Everyone in the area starts to panick adn flee.

Then a ball of dark fire is thrown at you and someone tries to put you in a stasis field where space-time is frozen.

The ball of fire vanished as it gets close, then an equally big ball of fire appears out of nowhere and flies at whatever threw it.

I exit the man's body, which is frozen for some reason, stash the souls away and look at who attacked me, completely unaffected by the stasis field due to several reasons including the power of the beginning, divine authority and existing outside the time axis.

The Jino Adil dodges the fire ball that was shot back at him.

"Tsk."

It seems I can't do anything against this one. I'll have to buy time.

He shoots a lightning bolt at the criminal. The two Rahkshi Kaita that are with him start shooting lasers out of their eyes at the demon.

I teleport back to the mirror world and possess the fireball man's reflection. Within the reflective surfaces around us, one of his reflections begins to grin.

Is this a superhero?

The reflection puts its hands on the upper and lower sections of its mouth and with a violent jerk, rips its own mouth apart. The same thing happens to the man.
