Everybody Wants to Rule the World 31

"Yay."

I turn into my dragon form and fly around the moon a couple of times before coming back to Mikages and Barian's location and turning into my human form again.

There wasn't much that Jesebell remembered before the flash of white light. The most that she remembered was standing on top of a building, adrenaline pumping through her veins as she raised a flag high above the building in question. She had let out a warcry, and the people below her, her countrymen, her brothers in faith, cheered and cried out with her.

But that was when everything went to shit. The sun suddenly grew brighter, and brighter, like god's wrath had just shined down upon them, as if disapproving of their conquest in his name. It got to the point where the sun was so unbearably bright that she had to put a hand over her eyes to prevent herself from going blind. Then she stumbled...and fell off!

She fell backwards from the rooftop, towards the ground. The sun was still bright and it blinded her, though this bright light would only last for a second longer as she suddenly was in a new area. She was staring up at a cold, dark sky, but she was still plummeting, and she was plummeting incredibly quickly.

She could feel her body heat up as the air around her lit ablaze. She was reentering the atmosphere, and because of that she quickly became a burning ball of fire. Before she could make it to the ground, though, she passed out, due to the confusion, the pain, and everything else. Her body was trying to process everything, even the changes that were slowly going through her body. Her internal tissue was changing, her heart was beating quickly, and it felt like every fiber of her being was changing. Her brain couldn't take it, and shut down, rendering her unconscious.

To those that saw this event from the outside, they would see a ball of fire falling from the sky, and for those that were of good vision, they'd see a humanoid in the middle of that fiery ball from the heavens, and along with the humanoid they'd also see various different items along with her.

She didn't fall for long, however. She landed in one of the more northern regions of the world. She landed with such force that it blew up the ground around her for about half a mile, and she was heavily beaten up by this, though, as she rested, her body was regenerating...it was just that she was currently knocked the hell out so it'd probably take a moment for her to get back onto her feet...

Then a thought crosses my mind.

"Say uh, do you happen to have some spare souls that can be used as sacrifices?" I ask Mikage.

I have an idea.

@Ed

I raise my finger, with a face twisted with confussion.

"W-wait, give me a minute, that's quite the info dump you got there."

I cross my arms and process the info i was given.

"So... you're trying to protect this world, right? And you want my help?"

I look at Mikage straight in the eyes.

"...well, in that case, you can count on me." I give her a smile.

@Hlthree

The paper has some notes in questionable hamdwriting. It reads:

General Rules
1: Do not destroy this place

2: Follow rule number 1

Blueprint
The temple is divided in 5, large sections. They are Meditation Area, Weapons Mastery Area, Martial Arts Area, Shooting Ground, Power Testing. They all look like 100 meter (diameter) spherical rings, covered in some sort of cloth. Each one has a button in the center.

Each area is self explanatory in it's uses, but bellow is written how you use them.

Meditation Area
A place to metidate and gain more control over your own powers, making yourself less destructable.

To activate it, press the button. The lights will go out and only a few, well placed candles will be left lighten.

Meditate in it however you want.

Rules
1: Inside those moondust pots is what appears to be salt. Cover the ring with it, it is necessary.

2: Stay in complete silence while starting the meditation. Sound will make the meditation ground go back to normal.

3: Don't let your power go out of control.

Weapon Mastery Area
A place to train your mastery over weapons.

Once the button in the middle is pressed, training dummies will appear and the golden weapons in the walls will be released for use.

Rules
1: Use any weapons you like, but don't break any of them.

2: Put the weapon back after finishing using it

Martial Arts Area
A area to train your CQC skills.

Once the button is pressed, a training dummy will appear.

Rules
None, for now

Shooting Ground
A place to test your aim, be it with guns, arrows or energy projectiles.

Pressing the button will make several things appear, like a training dummy with targets in specific body parts, targets that appear across the room, moving insects for you to hit, and more

Rules
1: Don't miss your target

Power Testing
A place used for testing super powers of any kind.

Once you press the button, the other areas will be united with this one, giving a lot more space to use the powers. And just about everything needed appears. Bolders, training dummies, televisions, etc.

It covers a large amount of powers.

Rules
1: Do not use powers that would obviously cause a lot of destruction or permanent damage.

That is the end of the note/paper. There seems to be something written in very small , barely readable.

It says "why did i even write this, it's not like anyone will read this anyway"

The area transforms itself, becomimg a 500 meter long ring.

Just about anything you can think off is here, ready to be used on.

@WHY

"I can create some."

@Crimson

Happy clone noises.

"Thank you."

I send Quinton a party invite.

"Something just crashed into the Earth. Do you guys want to check it out?" I ask Patrivk and Quinton.

I accept the party invite.

"Sure. Before that though..."

I hug Mikage.

"I'm glad to be able to help. Thank you for this chance, i won't dissapoint you."

I speak to her, before stop hugging. I also give her a smile.

"My analysis tells me the thing that crashed was something humanoid. Let's investigate."

I look confused at Patrick.

"Huh? What do you mea-"

Wait, why did i do that. Why did i hug her there was literally no reason to do that'

"Uhh... my bad."

I decide to test out this thing called "Marble Phantasm"

I open my arms wide, my mind following suit. Suddenly, all the boulders begin to float around after becoming totally perfect spheres. Then, they seemingly disappear, instead having become perfectly reflective.

The boulders begin to split apart, wobbling like a floating pocket of water, before falling to the floor, having lost all molecular cohesion and crumbled into individual atoms.

"Neat."

What? Whyyy?

I turn into slime form before he can see my face.

"...Stop that!

Let's go check out the person who crashed!""

I give a nervous giggle out.

"Yeah, that will probably be a good idea."

I open a hole in space, acting as a portal to where it crashed. In the picoseconds it took for it to open, i already jumped on it.

Seems the place has quite a big crater. The thing that feel seems to be still alive.

The crater was definitely big, but in the middle of it there was a woman who certainly seemed to still be alive, though she was surrounded by three different objects and...well, one different person. One object was a staff that was irradiating with power and energy, one was a...sailor uniform, that was seeming to stand up on its own, and the other was...a child, cradling a book. As soon as the child noticed the newcomers it held the book closer to his chest and glared at them, seeming to scoot around to block them from seeing the unconscious woman.

I was sitting in the living room, watching Spider-Man on the Saturday morning cartoons.

Then a man in a suit appeared in front of me. I yelled out for my dad at the stranger in the house, but the man waved his hand and I stopped yelling and started screaming. It felt like someone had put my finger in a light socket seconds after I had drunk 50 gallons of soft drink and was on the biggest sugar rush ever.

Things forced themselves inside my mind, knowledge of how to do things like the superheroes on the TV and lots more. It should have been exciting but it wasn't. It hurt and it felt like I had a hundred more arms and hands to control.

My parents ran into the room, still in their pyjamas, and saw me screaming and my mum grabbed the phone as dad ran over to pick me up. He lifted me to his chest and I hugged him hard and he hugged me back for a moment and then there was a sound like a tree branch cracking in the mud and we fell to the ground and my dad's head and neck and shoulders all came off and my arms were covered in blood.

My mum started screaming too and that and my dad on the ground made me start crying more and it was all too much so I just went away.

But then when I finally stopped crying, I didn't know how to get back. I was stuck there, looking as if from the other end of a long long tunnel at a frozen image of my mother screaming and my dad on the ground leaking out onto the carpet.

I stayed there for what seemed like an centuries, watching that image. Spider-Man was still on the TV. The man in the suit was gone.

I cried.

I yelled.

I screamed.

And when it all hurt too much, I started to laugh and I laughed and laughed and I couldn't stop.

And after an eternity, I realised how to get back and so I stepped back into the world. The sound of my mum screaming again was incredible after that eternity of silence in the outside place.

I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be like Spider-Man. But heroes didn't kill their dads. They didn't make their mothers scream like that.

I couldn't be a superhero.

So I had to be a supervillain.

Now, the first thing any good super villain does is rob a bank.

I start flying around the mirror world looking for a bank. I expect a big gold building with big dollar signs or dollar bills at the entrance.

Unfortunately I can't find anything like that. Frustrated, I rip off a reflection's jaw. From somewhere in the real world, a man starts screaming. I wonder if I could find a map to look for a bank somewhere.

I'm just acting as a normal citizen of Equalis for a while and this new protector, Mikage, she is interesting. This makes me want to interfere with the world a bit. Also this robe and hood is so hot, I have to change my clothes.

Raven - Revelator
As I changed, I said with a sense of satisfaction. "Way better. At least for this season. Also, the people are going depressed these days, maybe because of the attacks. I was more amused than scared tho."

I followed Quiton to the creater size.

@Jacky

I look at the kiddo.

"Hi there, lil guy."

I say with a friendly tone of voice.

I see the things in thr crater.

"Hey kid, what happened? And why is that... person here?"

I ask the kid with a book. However, another thought fills my mind.

What i did to Mikage. I hugged her and said something weird.

The weird part is, i feel i didn't do that on my own. My body moved on it's on and i felt weird. Like something was touching my soul.

And what's more, i'm having that feeling again.

WHYNAUT said:
I hesitate before asking. "Would 280 thousand souls be possible?" I ask Mikage.
That's quite a tall order...

"It's not impossible but... what would you need them for?"

The child frowns and glares at the two of you as you approach. "You better keep away from her! She's the boss here, and you're not taking any of her stuff!" He ran over to the staff and kicked it away from the two, only to have it...completely bonk the unconscious woman in the side of the head. That probably didn't help her much at all in terms of waking up. "She fell from the sky, alright."

"Calm down kid, we don't want to take her stuff, we can help her and you."

I say, trying to figure out the weird feeling in my body.

"The only thing you should do is wake her up! Then get away from her! Then leave us alone! Then...wait, I don't know what comes next." He frowned as he stared at the ground. What did come next...?

"Well if the demons receive about 40 thousand souls each they will evolve from Awakened Demon Lords into True Demon Lords and their power will increase exponentially." I explain.
