Ngl, I saw many ways for this saga to end when Vegeta went to Yadart. The villain fusing with the planet and Goku turning into a giant to take him down wasn't among them.

Really seems like it, it's crazy how going pro still hasn't made him drop any of his bad habit.
At this point, I'd hate if Toyotaro really end up being the successor to Toriyama, I'd prefer the guy who made 'reincarnated as Yamcha' or the chick who made DB SD a billion time over Toyotaro.

Eh, They haven't really proven their mettle since they are just doing random stuff with what they take from the video games, that and it's not always the same dude IIRC.
So comparing them to Toyotaro would be iffy, just like Toyotaro wasn't doing too bad until the black arc and wasn't a complete failure until the TOP.
