Dragon Ball characters are weak!

Controversial thread, right? Anyway, IMO DBZ characters compared to characters of the same tier, looks very weak. Seriously, most of DBZ char. except superhuman stat and boring ki blast, don't have any interesting powers or hax, just nothing.

What do you thing about this?

Well that's DB's style. It isn't focused on defeating the enemy in a convoluted way, it focuses on cool fights and raw power.

Also, DBS gave some decent hax to some characters.

Well Akira doesn't care how his characters stack up to others neither do other creators and as Kaltias said that's dragon ball's style its a show that focus primarily on martial arts and has energy attacks with some characters who have special abilities and you should take a look at other characters from different verses cause dragon ball isn't the only verse with strong characters who don't have hax.

Well TTLG is more brute force than Dragon Ball and they have decent hax.

Dragon Ball is not even AT's strongest verse, that goes to Dragon Quest/Chrono Trigger, who is too far more hax'd
