Dr. Eggman vs Rick Sanchez | Genius Battle

Incon for me. I still think Zavok could potentially turn all of Rick's tech against him, rendering most of his win cons null, but fortune cookies remain a problem.
 
IDK who to vote honestly, sounds like both have solid, and I mean SOLID options to taken out one or the other.

At least eggman is insane, not a loser..

  • Outside Influence: None. No characters of either verse, aside from those participating in the battle, may influence the outcome of the battle in any way. That means they may not join the fight, grant buffs, create shields, provide information etc. Exceptions are things like blessings, calling upon some higher entities power for a spell, summoning familiars to battle for them, having another character as equipment or more generally spoken the things which are listed on the profile as part of a characters own powers and abilities.
From what I understand Egg Man doesn't "own" them nor can he just summon them. Even the profile of Zavok says the chance they got to betray Egg Man they did, I dont I feel like we need to put a line to what Egg Man can use. If I am wrong please correct me but this would be the same as Rick grabbing Morty with him since even though they "control" those beings they do not "own" them, they are still their own beings and characters

Idk maybe I am yapping

The betrayal part wasn't the case with the Phantom Ruby clones, because those are just entirely under the whims of the Phantom Ruby's wielder. And this isn't necessarily outside help, because these clones are being created by the Phantom Ruby - which is a part of Eggman's equipment. They're tangible illusions, basically
 
I was asked to comment here. Despite skimming the 3 pages, I'm unsure how to vote.
& I doubt it'd be much easier to try & consult the profiles of these two.

Maybe I should ask for a summary of the primary-consideration win conditions in this matchup?
 
Honestly think the most likely outcome is that an army of Phantom Ruby Zavok clones take over Rick's tech (it is Zavok's opening move when faced with technological opponents), Rick uses a fortune cookie to shut down any tech that will be used against him, including Eggman's tech, but it utlimately won't matter since the Phantom Ruby won't be affected and Rick will then be forced to fight an army of Low 2-C clones (many of which can stop time, teleport, and massively amp thier speed) without anything useful to fight back. Even if the fortune cookies prevent him from dying, Rick is still powerless to do anything if Eggman and PR clones decide to BFR him to null space after stripping him of any equipment that might allow him to return from that. From here, Rick's only hope is Death Crystals and social influencing. The question of if this would work includes too many hypotheticals though.
 
Well Rick has many answers to that, especially with how much destructive his tech can get and how superior his prep time is. I'll count you as an Egg Man vote though.
 
So now Rick resists Info 2 and CM 1, would I be able to remake this match while giving Egg Man his full arsenal? (Rick is also getting Tier 1 upgrades so AP wont be an issue)

Holy shit, really? That is so cool and convinient! Now Rick just need a couple of infinite/immeasurable speed stuff and this is the perfect matchup!
 
I always thought it was weird that Rick went Inconclusive with HENRY STICKMAN of all people (The reasoning was that Rick had no way to kill Henry and Henry couldn't permanently kill Rick)

Tbh that was before my profile rework, now he has so many stuff that can shut Henry down
 
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from
