My theory is it's because of the current hurricane that is going on rn because I doubt Genshin had this big of an effect.
 
What will be a good matchup for Kiryu Kazuma? The only ones I managed to think up are Taro Sakamoto and freaking Peppino Spaghetti

-Dudes wearing white
-Tried to chill but big wigs ruined their lives
-Rampage through hundreds of enemies with sheer strength and anger
-Have incredible skills in close combat
-Have close stats
-Have a yellow-themed rival who is charmingly obnoxious and uses a knife and has a combat system similar but different from the MC
-Have a good friend who is like a brother to them who they fight together with
-Use weapons but for short whiles
 
On the other hand, Noise vs Majima would be hilarious
-Wear yellow
-Charmingly obnoxious
-Have a similar combat system to the MC but different enough to be unique
-Use knives
-use tools a lot
-Rival to the MC who is a good hearted brute
-high pitched exaggerated voices
-goofy in a cartoony way
 
Another funny thing about this whole ordeal is that this happened a few times during the day 1 livestream. I remember because at least once or twice when they announced a stretch goal was met, chat would point out when it went back down below it. With thousands of people pledging, you just gotta expect that.

Wei Shen from Sleeping Dogs is the one I've seen the most.

Nah, Moro isn't a popular villain, he's only a villain of the week, he hasn't left a mark like the other Dragon ball villains

Tirek isn't popular at all. People don't really watch MLP for the battle stuff. He is not popular outside the MLP fandom, especially compared to the other MLP villains.

That MU would do fine but it wouldn't do as good as literally any other matchup in the kickstarter
