Not gonna lie, Homura vs Trunks is easily the worst matchup I've heard in awhile right next to Josuke vs Yu
 
I know out of all the characters from Megamind people want, well, Megamind to be the one used in DB but what about Hal? Sure in terms of fighting he's mostly just a brick because he has Metro Man's powers so him fighting wouldn't be too interesting, but there has been a recent revelation that he has precognition, and damn good precog at that given just how far he can see into the future, which could make for a cool fight if he's used.

The only fight people wanted for him was Homelander, and since Homelander just got used, he isn't appearing anytime soon lol.
 
I wish DB could hire HyperSuda to find MUs for them, dude has some of the most consistently good MUs I’ve seen from the subreddit.

Or atleast just use his ideas. It’s not like he’s copyrighting them.

Well hiring them is an issue. Sean Hinz, Ben Singer and the management team having other minds is another.

Well matchups are thrown around so basically it is the management team members who pick them.

Try this: Kaguya Ōtsutsuki vs Kaguya Houraisan



Both were born within interstellar alien clans (The Otsutsuki's and The Lunarians). When considering Kaguya's (The Naruto one) status in the branch clan, you can also say they are both royalty within an interstellar alien clan who resides on the moon.

Dispatched to earth by their respective clans, they would wander across the planet, experiencing many of it's beauties and beginning to fall in love with the land that their people held poor opinions of (The Lunarians thought lowly of Earthlings and The Otsutsuki's saw Earth as a tool for harvest).

Both consumed a mythical foodstuff (The Hourai Elixir and Chakra Fruit) in an act that was considered massively taboo within their clans.

Both are incredibly powerful, capable of shifting space-time to their wims thanks to their unique abilities (Yomotsu Hirasaka and the Power of Eternity)

Both keep the undying devotion of a knowledgeable figure with a bipolar color palette (Zetsu and Eirin Yagokoro)

I PISSED ON THE MOON YOU IDIOT (Infinite Tsukyomi and the Imperishable Night incident)

Should be pretty obvious, but they have the same name and have significant allusions to The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter (Kaguya-Hime) within their characters. Very aesthetically reminiscent of Feudal Japan too, with their long, regal dresses and tunneled sleeves

I agree though. I love basically every Yakuza Vs fight. Kiryu vs Shizuo, Yagami vs Wei, Majima vs Juri / Setsuna Kiryu / Undyne, and Ichiban, despite my immense distaste for Jojo, seems to have a cool matchup with him.
