I know I've already given my false proclivities with Shulk vs Lightning as a matchup, but now that I think about it, if the fact that all three mains swords being on XC3's EX pass means what I think it means, DBa is going to want to hold off until the end of 2023 to bring Shulk to the format.
Any earlier, and he's going to be a shoe-in for revisions of some kind.

I can see it possibly happening, he's really popular (Both generally and in vs debates) so he'd easily bring in views, plus it's been known for a while that ragnarok was coming out this year so it'd work out well if he had a fight this season.
Also has anyone else seen the new chapter of OPM? New chapter makes Saitama way stronger and faster than what DB put Popeye at in their fight lmao.

It also seems like they might be using operators, and based on the clips shown when they were about to lead into his arsenal, they might use archwings as well, both of which give Excalibur even more advantages over Raiden.

honestly comparing it to other episodes this season alone, it's not even that much of a stomp depending on where they put Raiden and Excalibur stat wise

Hot take but I think the definition of stomp is way too broad in VS. Literally everything has the potential to be a stomp because everything is subjective. And ultimately, it's really ******* hard to find MUs that are thematically interesting, popular, AND fair in most if not all categories.
