Sounds cool, thematics?

Sounds cool, thematics?
Both are the teenage protagonists of their series. Both are japanese delinquents who are extremely arrogant and usually rude but despite that, they're actually good people at heart who treasure their friends, families and girlfriends (Keiko and Yuki) above anything else in their life. Both are members of clans that have supernatural powers (Mazoku and Kusanagi) and both had inherited the abilities of their ancestors (Yusuke can use demon energy and Kyo can use flames in combat). Their ancestors also played very important parts in their stories and were members of trios (Raizen, Yusuke's ancestral father, was one of the three demon kings, alongside Yomi and Mukuro and Kyo's ancestor sealed away Orochi, alongside Chizuru's ancestor and Iori's ancestor). Both had participated in their series' most well known team based tournaments (Yusuke participated in Dark Tournament and Kyo participated in the King of Fighters Tournament) and both participate in alot of tournaments in general. Both have extremely edgy rivals who fight using flames (Hiei and Iori) and they had to team up with said rivals in one of the tournaments, despite them both disliking each other. Both had also fought against individuals (Sensui and Orochi) with many followers who hate mankind and want to destroy it. Their fights against said individuals were extremely difficult and they would've easily lost to them, until they were helped by other people (Raizen possesing Yusuke and beating Sensui in his body and Kyo getting helped by Chizuru and Iori, so that he would be able to deliver final blow to Orochi).

Predator getting more clicks than Boba at current rate....that's a suprise. Maybe people are just too familiar with Boba that they didn't feel the need to watch his preview. Hopefully that's the reason lol

Who's winning next episode in your opinion? I don't really like star wars, so I'm not knowledgeable and while I found the Predator movies to be entertaining I'm ignorant when it comes to its power scaling.

Depends on the Predator and who you go about composite and there species but in general

With EU Boba Wins
Without it Predator Stomps
With EU scaling and without comic scaling from nowhere Boba Fett AP stomps.
Without EU scaling Predator trumps with skill and arsenal.

Yusuke Urameshi vs Kyo Kusanagi actually getting popular? Awesome.
While this removes Yusuke vs Reimu Hakurei, this may also remove Yusuke vs Yoh Asakura.

Really I wonder why
no idea, but Ben did say while there's no DBX in the summer break, it doesn't mean there won't be DBX at all.

Alright a bit more to add from the fireside chat

While there won't be S9B characters revealed after Bobator, there will be a surprise reveal.

The Boys Seven Battle episode is not an official DB episode.

They forgot Vegeta vs Mewtwo? existed, said it was ages ago.

They will try to do more live-action/claymation episodes in the future. Budget is not the sole reason why LA fights don't happen more often, it's more about the schedule as they make the episodes around the animation. Musical episodes are on Ben's radar.

COVID killed 20-episode long seasons.

Per Ben, they will(or haven't) no longer "wait" for characters to wrap up their stories to bring them into DB. Too many characters are faced with the "Death Battle curse" and unlike the old days, characters seem to be getting new content after the show/series has ended, so they feel like it's no use waiting.
They wish they would've bring in Luffy in the early seasons, says Luffy is pretty much a lock in for a future episode, his Gear 5 opens up new MU's for Luffy (Swan brought up Luffy vs Plastic Man as he considered that MU dumb pre Gear 5)

Ben asked if we want to see Ash Williams in Death Battle.

basically what everyone else is saying, depending on where they put composite predator statwise, EU boba ap stomps movie predator, but composite predator might be close enough in stats that his ridiculous amount of instant kill gear and higher skill will snag the win.

See.

Opponents for The Traveler (Genshin Impact) eh
0. Link

1. Knight (Guardian Tales)
2. Aloy
3. Captain (Granblue Fantasy)
4. Byleth Eisner
5. Aang(?)

I shall leave up to you pals to create a close connections table for the above
Aloy can fight against her GI counterpart and loses because of GI scaling chain.
Aang has his best opponent.
Byleth may have better.
Dragon Quest IX protagonists is one of The Traveler's best choices.
Sun Wukong can be The Traveler's choice because they are the flame bait in their origin region.
Yusuke Urameshi vs Kyo Kusanagi actually getting popular? Awesome.
While this removes Yusuke vs Reimu Hakurei, this may also remove Yusuke vs Yoh Asakura.
It is unknown if the Deeith Battle Team would use the controversial tree feat again. I bought it. By the way, what's their connection?

On an unrelated note, a proposal about separating SNK characters and their KOF counterparts have been accepted and the remaining thing is creating new profiles and revise the existed profiles.

I feel that they have many matchup which includes characters whose stories have been ended.
I don't know how good or bad it is: how good and/or likely is Albert Wesker vs Muzan Kibutsuji? It frees Kazuya Mishima to fight against anyone "tier 6" or above, and gives Demon Slayer an interesting win. Also Demon Slayer representation means cash cow so yay.
It is a good choice and I noticed that Muzan is technically a production of bio-"tech" too and they just become more ugly in their final form RE5 ruins Wesker. Dio: Muzan, welcome to die.

Goro Majima vs Undyne

You thought Erice Ustumi bullying Nick Fury was funny. We have Goro bullying Undyne this time.

TBH, Nick Fury is not totally helpless since it is said that Nick has weapons which can take down Thor or take down Hulk but he is still Marvel street tier and these feats can be easily classified as outliner. Also, Nick has Watcher key which can horribly stomps Erice if Erice is not scaled to Tier 1 stuff and it is non-standard .

By the way, what's the connection between Undyne and Goro Majima?
Or it just let Cell Max get a theoretical "will eventually become Broly tier"
I can't help thinking the monkey who lifted an infinite universe with one shoulder.

VS Battles Wiki, while it is large, is currently not large enough to contain the verses which are the shining verses in the past.

Great. But then what to show during summer? ... like a 2-month long DODB?
And then DBX gets squeezed during 2nd half of Season 9?

While there won't be S9B characters revealed after Bobator, there will be a surprise reveal.
Shall see how surprising that can go.

The Boys Seven Battle episode is not an official DB episode.
Knew it.

They forgot Vegeta vs Mewtwo? existed, said it was ages ago.
Don't care.

Live action? Then clay motion? Now musical? What next? Real puppet (not 2d sprite) fight? (I saw some in Malaysia, Cambodia, ROC Taiwan and Japan.) I smell Pepe vs Kermit soemhow.

About time.

Ben asked if we want to see Ash Williams in Death Battle.
Request for him has died down a while. Only Juliet Starling and Frank West and Chuck Greene(?) are requested and even those are not very popular as I see.

If this is true then absolutely expect Gon vs Deku soon, no way they're not gonna pull out a money-maker MU like that.
By the way, what's the connection between Undyne and Goro Majima?
Look at the pinned comment for the commission track, it goes in full detail.

Very interesting! I'm interested to see what could be worthy of a potential full claymation fight... and ESPECIALLY interested in what DB they could make into a muscial lmao.

Also huh, I figured budget was the main thing holding LA fights back.

well Nick fury did have a pistol that could kill the Watcher as well, and has access to safehouses that have tech from basically every superhero and villain including Mr. Fantastic tech, ironman suits, anti-hulk weaponry and even Doom tech, so he is DEFINITELY able to do stuff even without becoming the a Watcher, not to mention almost any time anyone has ever killed Nick it's a goddamn LMD instead of the real him.

You know what? China RPG vs Korea RPG can bring unexpectedly great flames.
And yes there are so many opponents of choice for GI traveler.

Nice.

It is unknown if the Deeith Battle Team would use the controversial tree feat again. I bought it. By the way, what's their connection?
If they dared to keep the meteor feat for Akuma, I totally see that tree feat kept.

It is a good choice and I noticed that Muzan is technically a production of bio-"tech" too and they just become more ugly in their final form RE5 ruins Wesker. Dio: Muzan, welcome to die.
Great. It frees Wesker and Kazuya for better opponents.

Never mind since Nick Fury and Erice Utsumi have better opponents.
By the way, what's the connection between Undyne and Goro Majima?
Goofy eyepatch characters that pursue the protagonist at one point and a high ranking member of a group

Damn Plastic Man is gonna murder the shit out of Luffy😭

Nah this stuff is pretty good. Tho with DB schedule I’m not sure Claymation is a good option for it as if you want good claymation that takes even more time that animation
