also, who would Kang the Conqueror fight in DB?
Rick Sanchez. That's Kang's best mu, and Rick's best mu only connection wise, otherwise Rick Sanchez vs the Doctor is more popular and too hyped to not happen first.
  • Scientific geniuses with a f*ck ton of inventions & gadgets.
  • Still remain as "weak" as slightly superhuman themselves while their tech is absurdly powerful.
  • Similar morality (Rick's evil, regardless of the "variable" way in which the show portrays him, and has drops of being good. Kang's evil but has done good when needed to)
  • Unclear backstory in which one has to piece together things to get a part of it.
  • Similar deeper motivation/drive (Kang's lonely and bored with life)
  • The opposition of Rick hating & opposing time travel and it being Kang's main thing.
  • When they die, they revive as a clone.
    • This goes over to hold an insane battle potential as they both naturally force themselves to have optional equipment and prep time, very much leading to a war between many Ricks (clones, robots, holograms, etc.) vs many Kangs.
  • Family drama and love can mess them up in petty ways.
  • They can discard/kill legit friends if needed to because they're assholes like that.
  • They are narcissists, arrogants, egoistic, kinda sexist, mechanically modified, genocidals, slavers, tyrants, thiefs, etc. both being evil and having many appearances makes them have many of the same crimes and attitudes.
  • Have a Coucil of themselves (Kang has a Coucil of Kangs)
  • They're the best version of themselves there is in the multiverse (Rick's the Rickest Rick and Kang fused himself with all other versions of himself to become all of them in 1)

The Emperor of Mankind vs Gilgamesh
Emprah has Sigmar and Gilgamesh has Doctor Doom.

It's not like Gilgamesh is any fairer of a match, since Emprah will always have 1-A shit, no matter what with EoM he's going to stomp all of his MUs unless theres something I'm missing

And before you ask about the connections Sigmar and EoM have

Both are golden gods(Gilgamesh is a DEMIgod)
Both stave off a group of gods hellbent on destruction
Both fail at winning a deciding fight of the universe
Both are the gods of mankind
Both use weapons empowered by their might(Ghal Maraz becomes symbiotic with Sigmar later on)
Both are the main force of order in their verses
Pretty sure there are more I'm forgetting.

I can only think of 2 maybe three connections between gil and emps

Trunks vs Silver issues are:

  • Their fighting styles are odd, Silver mostly needs to TK Ki projectiles but he doesn't mesh well vs any swords
  • Every goddamn VS show on web has made Silver lose, is there ANY show that had Silver win? Predictable
  • I saw a point that Ben hates Silver so yeah, he might not get a good representation in a fight
  • God forbid Silver winning would be waaaaay worse for general audience lol

But honestly Silver doesn't mesh well against a sword user which makes it awkward. That is probably biggest reasoning against it.

Cool beans, I have no problem with them fighting one another, I just prefer The Emperor to fight Gilly.

Also kinda wanted Sigmar to fight Elric of Meliboné

Can we have this be a thing now? I sense incredible dialogue potential.

Given how Rick likes to deconstruct and mock cliches and characters he can get a clear read on their whole sh*t going on, he's gonna have an easy time making fun of Kang, whose literally a classic comicbook villain. Kang in turn is sophisticated but when pushed too far has an angry break down. Still, Rick will then be evenly matched much like with the Devil, that scientist in the mini universe inside his spaceship, and against other Ricks.

Hey, I know someone was looking for a stitch matchup, what do you think about this matchup?

- Trunks fights with his ki blasts just as much as he swordfights. Besides, other animations shown out it works. Besides Trunks fights people who don't have swords.

-And? Why is that even an issue? It is the legitimate outcome of the fight.

-Ben also hated Sasuke, but he got represented well.

-And? Sonic characters have lost plenty of times before. And DB don't care about controversy.

Once again, Trunks has fought plenty of times without his sword. He could incorporate that into the fight.

What are the connections between D and Alucard, besides swordsmen dhampirs, similiar attitude and children of Dracula?
Iconic Dhampirs (half human-half vampire) who, despite their monstrous heritage, have dedicated their lives to ridding the world of other vampires and ghoulish beings. Both are the sons of their universe's version of Dracula, and have inherited their abilities, which are said to be Universal+ level. Additionally their main weapons are longswords, and both have lived for an extremely long time, having accompanied other vampire hunters on their journeys along the way. It's also a battle of opposites, as Alucard/Castlevania's timeline is mostly in the medieval/renaissance era, whereas D's adventures are in the distant futures. Also, Adrian Fahrenheit Ţepes was born from a loving relationship between vampire and human, while D was...not....

That's the gist of it. And you basically TLDR all the connections.

Honestly this is better then Thawne and Xavier for Kang and Rick

Donovan Baine vs Alucard (Darkstalkers vs Castlevania)
Both are dhampirs from videogames who hate their kind and kill other monsters in their world (Darkstalkers and Dracula's servants). Both had a tragic story involving a loss of their mothers (Donovan himself had killed his mother and the rest of the village, due to his vampiric instincts and Alucard's mother was killed by villagers because everyone thought that she is a witch). Both started out evil, but later changed their paths (Donovan because of his vampire instincts, while Alucard due to his father's brainwashing). Both have befriended a human girl with supernatural abilities (Maria Renard and Anita). Both have a powerful magical sword that can fly (Dhylec Blade and Sword Familiar). Both use familiars and spirits in their battles. Both are afraid that one day they will succumb to evil. Both want to protect humans and both understand their hatred towards their kind. And both come from games that have old monster movies aesthetic.
