That its a shit tons of matchups with a lot of potential, many of which are already popular while other are less.
John Wick VS Beatrix Kiddo, Accelerator VS Magneto, Thrall VS Ghazgkhull, Stain VS Billy Butcher, Ori VS Hollow Knight, Starfire VS Lum Invader, Rick Sanchez VS Xavier, Alucard VS D, Donald Duck VS Daffy Duck, Bill Rizer VS Marco Rossi, Acnologia VS Kaido, Battle Beast VS Lord Boros, John Constantine VS Raidou Kuzunoha, Senator Armstrong VS Funny Valentine, Michael Myers VS Jason Voorhees, Jean Grey VS Phoenix Ikki, Simon the Digger VS Kyle Rayner, Tetsuo Shima VS Mewtwo and Thor VS Vegeta are definitely the ones i would like to see the most.
But there are several matchups which either make me scratch my head (as i don't understand the connections) or that are just bad (only in my opinion) and that the characters used had better options, like The Doctor VS Doraemon, Raoh VS Akuma, Megas VS Gundam?, Asura VS Beerus, Jason Voorhees VS Pyramid Head, Human Torch? VS Alan Scott, Kazuma Kiryu VS Kinpin, Hitman VS John Wick, Jiren VS Martian Manhunter, Hellboy VS Devilman, Spawn VS Ghost Rider, Cell VS Dark Samus, Pegasus Seiya VS Sailor Moon and Medaka Kurokami VS Haruhi Suzumiya.

Tbh DB do have some very bizarre standards for using characters at their "peak" such as using supported feats/scaling from completely different (sometimes non-canon) mediums yet won't give characters power-ups or equipment they've canonically used in the source material if it's not "permanent" (even tho they've done the same with other characters).

Venom vs Crona is honestly more thematic since they aren't true villains in the end and just look at Venom and Ragnarok. Sure, Carnage has blood relation better, but I like Venom vs Crona better.

- Carnage was more recent and already fought another pink haired anime character so they wanted to avoid samey thumbnail
- Venom was kinda wasted on Bane
And Venom 2 being planned at that time meant Venom made sense. Unfoooooortunately, Ben admitted he didn't know much about Crona. Now, its cool that they use character they aren't familiar with but this meant they didn't know Crona uses sound attacks. The only good thing on that is that they could research Venom's sound resistance feats but still lol

Well for Normal Donald & Mickey, I think composites might be the way to go, if only because they have way too much material, no clear most popular form and frankly toonforce allows them to pull shit out of their pants so might as well.

Ladybug VS Skitter would be interesting to see but is let down by the fact Worm never has a physical adaptation, making it hard to judge her feats. Still prefer Randy Cunningham against Ladybug.
Ice Climbers VS Snow Bros is pretty CHILL but both don't really have enough material to work with.
Lum Invader is a rather unexpected choice for Starfire.
