Continuation of Tier 3 Kid Buu discussions

My point being that an actual level of power wasn't truly set to the character until DBS, so I think any statements before the character was even a thing should be taken with a grain of salt

It's not about being set or not, Akira in that moment already had the concept of Beerus in his mind...the God of destruction, the strongest being on the Universe...of course he would be stronger than Goku and co...

Besides, and again, it passed millions and millions of years since Elder's and Beerus's last encounter, it's seriously not far fetched to think Beerus got stronger.

That's why, I'm not proposing a the solid rating, I'm proposing the "Likely" or "Possibly" rating for 3-B.....which would be more accurate, since a "Likely" or "possibly" rating are mostly speculation

Akira even mentioned the name "Bills/Beerus" back then in an interview as Toby said.

Also, characters can get stronger through training, we see the massive power jumps DBS characters have..... Frieza just training 4 months and reaching Golden, is an example.
There no contradiction or anti feat for that, given it passed millions, and millions of years since the last encounter between Elder Kai and Beerus.

Couldn't the latter just have trained during that period??

However, as I say, and given se don't have much information about, I suggest a "Likely" or "possibly" rating for the 3-B tier.
I think we can call it a team now and I've decided that, we have nothing to argue with lol

Leaning in favor of 3-B, but definitely not 3-A (since in the previous thread there was some 3-A talk).

That's usually how they do it, they start creating a hakai area that would encompassess de whole macrocosmos of both universes. So Yeah, Beerus hakaing the Kaioshin's realm is a thing and a point.

Not really, that was the only instance where they would hakai the universes, and that was a fight between GoDs too, the other time they fought they were just going to do so via AP, and every other time they destroy something or threaten to do so is the conventional way.

Here beerus would deatroy the kaioshin realm by himself, nothing implies he would just release energy of destruction and let it slowly be erased instead of just blowing it up

I disagree with the notion of 3-B beerus. The character was conceptualised long after the DBZ ended. This is one of the desperate attempts to get your favourite character a high rating.

If Tier 3 Buu comes from the infamous "Not as bad as Majin Buu" statement from Old Kai, I thought that was agreed to be a bad translation. Because the most reliable sources simply have him saying "Not as bad/evil/dangerous" as Buu and nothing to do with how much raw power they have. Buu destroys for the sake of destroying where as Beerus is kinda lazy and only destroys planets he doesn't like is what Old Kai is saying.

Otherwise, It's not implied Buu is capable of Cosmic destructions instantly but only by destroying planets and stars like one by one over time. So I disagree with upgrading Buu to 3-B or 3-A and what not.

but the reason Buu takes so long to destroy planets and stars, comes from the fact that the planet is inhabited by alien races, so much so that he is shown in the manga killing people, this Buu doesn't have reasoning

You mean aliens that he can pretty much oneshot all at once with a single attack most of the time? It's not like they're full of characters somewhat close to Buu's tier.

not mentioned that they manage to do something, but rather that there are many on each planet, Buu likes to kill and destroy everything completely, what's the point of blowing up planets at once, and not to see an alien race suffering?

this excuse of Buu taking years to destroy planets and stars is easy to refute, shown in the manga and throughout the saga, Majin Buu is a being who likes to destroy things and kill races entirely, I don't see the point of using this as a demotion to Majin Buu, we know how he is and how he does things

we can also assume that Majin Buu also feels hungry, I think he fed on these planets, turning them all into chocolates, and absorbing some races

Shouldn't Buu be tiered possibly 3A? I think it was mentioned a couple of times that he will eventually destroy the universe, even in daizenshuu if Im not mistaken.

yes, there are several quotes placing him on this scale, in addition to the Dragon Ball Super manga itself showing this, they do not accept anything here, even the creator's own words want to deny it in the hard face

That doesn't really make one universal, even a Large Building level character could destroy an entire city but destroying all the buildings one by one over time, but that doesn't make someone City level, so destroying the universe by destroying every planet and star in the universe one by one over time can be done by someone simply 4-B.

That is more or less something Innocent Buu would do, the version who got weaker and more innocent upon absorbing Grand Supreme Kai, Kid Buu on the other hand just destroys and blows up everyone and everything.

That's why I said "POSSIBLY 3A" because there is enough evidence for that but not for a solid 3A tier.

I think the kid boo would do that too, given that vegeta claims how sayans have done the same to planets, while only in the anime we see sayans and kid boo actually destroying the planets and not just devastating their landscape.

But I agree with you, there are points like Majin Boo taking a long time due to him likely needing a ship, and Kid Boo one shoted the planet earth as soon as he appeared.

You don't get a likely/possibly via destruction over time of celestial bodies, it could take billions of years to do so, and iregardless the final tier would be nowhere near galaxy.

but he has a quote that could destroy the universe with a "poof" so it sure isn't gradual. It could give one hit and end of the universe. Of course, based on that statement from goku.

Herms didn't say that he could destroy in a "poof", he said that poof means "to disappear completely" not "To disappear complety in a poof". There is an overwhelming difference in "making the universe disappear completely" and putting a time frame on that wording when nothing of the sort is indicated, majin boo would cause the universe to be destroyed at some point by making it disappear completely, that's not the time frame, that's is a statement that he would destroy the universe.

Yeah, but that's in regards to goku's quote about majin boo destroying the universe in a poof. But anyway, I'm agreeing more on the possibly 3-B side than the 3-A side here.

As i said before, it's stated nowhere that the wording is "in a poof", but rather that "poof" means "disappear completely".
