Kid Icarus CRT: Aurum Brain Size Revision

Honestly it would get complicated. This is purely the developer's choice. The visuals are there. No need to see the entire continent.

Tbh trying to disprove the visuals based on the statement alone is kinds disingenous, because the statement itself isn't that reliable.
If it was delivered in a more serious manner or tone, or if it came from an Idol or some other description I would even get it, but here we here we have more reasons to trust the visuals than not.
And remember the brain wouldn't be the size of a single continent, but many, many more, as the ship is is just a fraction in comparison.
If the developers wanted to portray a planet or moon-sized object, they would have found a way, kinda like the Moon Fortress which isn't the moon but is made to look like so through camera angles and stuff.

Palutena was not joking around or is shocked. She's talking like that because She wants to explain to Pit and guide him.

Well, she is indeed shocked, look at the artwork and the tone.
But anyway, between the statement not being necessarily accurate given the situation and the portrayal, we can't just arbitrarily dismiss the visuals only because we like too.
That thing should have been incredibly more massive, if they wanted to make it planet size they would have done so in some way, but here we have a deliberate decision to not make it as massive as it is supposed to be, not even close.

If she's really shocked. Then how does she even know all of this?

Yeah if it wasn't for that shot of the brain compared to the planet I think this would be solid, tried looking at the idol description for the fortress but all it says is that it's really big which like, doesn't need to dwarf continents to be considered big.

A niche verse getting scrutinized? That's a surprise.

Honestly debating about the emotional context of a character's statement is clear semantics, the main thing is if the feats/statements are consistent with verse in question and considering the verse peaks at 4-A with tier 6 supporting feats/statements plus overarching narrative of the Auram being a world ending threat on top of the balance of the heavens, Earth and Underworld being thrown into chaos, imo tier 5 is consistent.

I know my opinion holds little weight and it seems this might be rejected by Saman and Amor but I might as well get my thoughts out before the CRT concludes.

We can't speak of consistency either, becausr Dyntos is in a separate league by in-verse rules, and the highest feat for the rest of the cast comes from the Aurum itself, and behind it there's Hades's country-wiping statement.

And the Aurum are repeteadly stated to be a planetary threat because they ravage worlds to wipe out and copy lifeforms while stealing their resources to multiply themselves and then pass onto the next one, they aren't going to pull a Frieza and nuke the Earth.

Yeah but nobody's arguing that it's inconsistent, or that the feat shouldn't be accepted because Palutena's unreliable. The issue is that we literally see how big the thing is and it isn't that big.
