“Was that a challenge? My record with keeping promises is a whole. Five. Minutes! But you got yourself a promise. Wanna bet I make it to seven this time?” Aura put her hand up and waved as Victoria walked away. “Already countiiiiiin.......!!”
Victoria simply sighed as she took a sip of her coffee.

"Humans..... are weird" Neron said looking at Aura with a drop of sweat after seeing the event that is taking place and then taking a sip of coffee.

Palaria sighed as Shalai worked on Aura's injuries silently

"By the way Shalai, you coming with?" Palaria asked, she knew the answer but she'd rather hear it from Shalai

"Yeah, why not?"

"Are you sure he's gonna appreciate you pissing off with us?"

"Nope!"

Aura doesn't say a word. Still staring down the nearest clock in ways that only happen in Wild West and Kung Fu movie confrontations.
POV: You are the clock.

Darren painfully pulls himself out of the hole he had been smashed into. walking over to the rest of his team

Palaria sighed

"He can't stop you, can he?" She asked

Shalai shook her head "no, but I am connected to our database, while it's running on like two hamster wheels named Hamburg and Hamski, and since there are dozens of other enchanters in the base, losing me isn't a huge blow, especially since I'm supposed to be the Elemental researcher." Shalai said, finishing patching up Aura

"light duties at the most, and no running around. You need rest, and trying to push yourself is just going to slow you down horrifically for tonight." Palaria said to the patient, clearly she had much more medical knowledge then Shalai

After a while of reviewing the fight in her head Sena got up and went for a walk. She knew now that she still had so much to work on but letting herself dwell on those would just make her feel worse. So she wandered the base with no set destination in mind to help clear her head.

“Think I'll do that the moment you turn your back, don't you? That's on me. Setting that bar six feet deep is on me.” the self-imposed silence was broken. Her staredown with Father Time was not. “Wasn't going to. There's martial arts growth that only happens when you rest. It's like yin and yang, get me? Stress into rest, rest into stress. Right now, I'm all for that rest!” the only thing she was stressing over were the 30 seconds to one more minute.

"You're hyperactive enough I have to tell you." Palaria said before stalking off to the other room where the rest were and just sitting down at one of the tables to put her head into her arms

"..."

Victoria glanced at the girl, before taking a sip of her coffee. Though she wants her sweets from Shalai, she isn't the type to pester someone to get what she wants.

“O-hyaaaaa...” what kind of laid-back war cry was that? Aura stood up from some corner. One long stretch of her long and slender limbs later, she made her way over to Shalai. “I don't see Victoria collecting any sweets. Can I have her share?”

"I'm not done healing people yet. I'll work it up for her after I'm done." Shalai said, distractedly working on Rakih's wounds

Aura doesn't say anything else, but walking back and forth in persistent semicircles around the healer was probably just as distracting. You are my guest to guess what she did next.

After wandering for a while Sena found herself at the room where some of the rest of her team had gathered. She sat down near Palaria and looked toward her with concern. Unsure of what to say she eventually managed to ask, “Hey um, are you all right?”

"...no." Palaria said in response, pulling her head up so she could look at Sena

“I’m sorry. That was a pretty stupid question wasn’t it?” Sena said with a sigh. She hated seeing people like this but there was only so much she could do. “I don’t know if there’s anything I can help with but if so don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll be there for you.”

Palaria sighed "I'm still grieving, and pretty majorly traumatized, but I figured it's time to actually start helping, since I am one of the most capable individuals in magic around. I just didn't expect to be put I to this kind of position..." Palaria vented some of her feelings to Sena

Sena listened patiently to Palaria. After she said, “I see, that’s a lot of pressure to be under. I can hardly imagine it. And the fact that you still keep going is impressive.” The more she learned about each of her comrades the more it reinforced her desire to help and support them. She wanted to be able to ease their burdens even a little.

"Maybe, I don't know how I'm going to do out there, so... I do really need all the help I can get." Palaria said honestly

“Well, like I said I’ll give you as much support as I can and we’ve got all the others to back us up. I’m sure we’ll make it through if we work as a team.” She said offering a comforting smile.

"Maybe... we're at every disadvantage..." Palaria murmured

"Also, are you ready for the big argument that's gonna happen?" Palaria asked, trying to set foot onto a lighter note

“Is it gonna be any worse than the way I just recently got my butt kicked?” She asked in a joking manner.
"Eh, more like you're going to see the great and mighty Balthar Steelheart reduced to arguing with someone who looks like she's 13." Palaria responded

“Yeah, pretty sure I’m ready for that.” Sena said sitting back in her chair.
"I'm sure..." Palaria murmured, closing her eyes and putting her head back into her arms as Shalai finished up with healing Rakih and came over to start with the individuals in the room, starting with Sena

Sena nodded and smiled. “Happy to be of
help.”
"She really needs if you know..." Shalai murmured, finishing up in quick order "Get her something to drink, I don't think she's had anything for the day..." she whispered to Shalai before moving onto the others in the room, starting with Victoria

After running a hand over her injuries to see that they all healed properly Sena got up and went to get a drink for herself and Palaria like Shalai said.

Palaria didn't respond, like she didn't even realize something had been brought to her, clearly she would have to be nudged for it

“Palaria, I’ve brought you something to drink.” Sena said as she gently nudged her shoulder. “Gotta keep yourself hydrated.”
"A-ah, thank you...!" Palaria said, pulling herself up, clearly having been distracted by her own mind, taking the drink of water gladly
