Here's Erza trying to blindside Midnight and he opens with defensive reflector as he just got done stomping jellal.

Midnight Reflector

But he actually saw the attack coming, would he do it when the attack just spawns on him and he doesn't know what to reflect until it is too late?

Hades and swarm aren't instantaneous attacks, Hades for example spawn bellow the target so it gets reflected and swarm spawns around the enemy first so it also gets reflected because they aren't faster than Midnight can think.

Hades spell
Swarm spell

How does he reflect Hades? It spawns below him and is in the ground.

Also can he reflect all of those bugs at once Fromm all of the angles the come from?

She will most likely be sending other attacks at him due to how quick they are to do, so he has to deal with a lot.

For crying out load none of her magic attacks are faster than him thinking, stop saying they will out speed his reflector as he has reflected Erza's Danmaku before and was able to reflect erza's other attacks who at the time could near blitz him.

By his Reflector existing. Attacks spawning below means nothing when Hoteye's entire fighting style is manipulating the earth directly beneath and around his opponent to trap, crush and suffocate them simultaneously from the get go. Midnight stomped Hoteye before stomping Jellal and was about to stomp Erza before she figured out his Reflector and abused the weakness.

To clarify, it is only thought based when he is actively controlling it, otherwise it is completely passive like Accelerator's field as shown when he is asleep and still negs any attacks that come at him. Anything hostile gets immediately thrown out and redirected around him so whatever she spawns around him will get yeeted before it can do anything to him which will be followed up by him throwing out a few dark magic spells before he uses Genesis Zero to AoE everything around him for the win.

Midnight was able to reflect all of Hoteye's attacks and even make illusionary wounds to trick him into believing he was damaged so yes he can reflect attacks that spawn below him.

I don't get the point of the whole "attacks from underneath him" bit. Why does it matter what direction it comes from when there was no statement or fear that shows it being a weakness and being consciously aware of the attack is also a non issue? Even when the weaknesses get listed off, attacks from below are not part of it and as Zackra said, Hoteye doing just that failed.

But he isn't gonna just know that it is coming from below and it makes contact and hurts him Immediately since he is always making contact with it. Combined with the speed advantage and accuracy buff, he wouldn't be able to react much.

Yes he would because there's a delay in the attacks that I have shown in the Scans above. And once again speed amp is a moot point because he could still reflect Erza's attacks who at the time could blitz and one shot him.

But he wouldn't see it unless he already knows where it comes from. It will make contact instantly after activation since it is already making contact.

Speed amp isn't moot, he still needs to react, if he doesn't know where it is, he can't react.

Due to the decent AP advantage, he will be left open after getting hit. (A hit that strong will cause good damage, especially for someone who rarely gets hit.)

You must have missed the part where he doesn't need to see it. He reflects stuff while asleep. The defense is passive unless he specifically moves the field away from him which doesn't do in this key as he has a bunch of other magics to use offensively.

A giant purple magic circle beneath your feet is quite visible.

It is moot because thinking and passive attack reflection completely counter it.

He won't be left open because she has no way around reflector nor can she outlast him.

You also haven't given any counters to Midnight binding her than EE.

He won't really see it though unless he looks down, the glow is muted and small.

Also would he be able to reflect Luna, which outright negates magic resistances?

He is less likely to land EE before she hits him first. She has speed amps plus dodge based amps as well.

Once again doesn't matter as he has casually reflected Hoteye's liquid ground which is at least as fast as Hades.

Resistance negation has nothing to do with attack reflection.

Once again he can bind by thinking, then completely body her with what ever he wants as she doesn't have any way around his LS advantage.

@Zackra

Just drop the attacks from below point. There is no reason to continue arguing when he ignores the fact that Midnight doesn't need to be aware of or even conscious to Reflect.
