Avatar Aang (Avatar: The Last Airbender) vs Percy Jackson (Riordanverse)

Percy Jackson is still 6-C. There's no such thing as High 7-B. There's Low 7-B, 7-B, 7-A, High 7-A.

Aang is 7-B in adult avatar state, 7-C in kid avatar state and High 8-C at base

The Riordanverse downgrades still haven't gone through yet? Damn its been like a year. I thought it was agreed to downgrade Percy and othe Demigods to 7-A/7-B.

umm you cant really disagree, aang gets one shot due to the massive difference in ap...
Even then, Percy can control water as much as Aang does and is resistant to Firebending.

there's not really that much of a difference. aang in the avatar state has access to all of the feats of past avatars. so he can move create islands like kyoshi and manipulate tons of lava like avatar "jafar".

The island moving feat was calced and it didn't hit High 7-A, much less 6-C. Even then, we don't use it anyway so until you make a CRT, Percy stomps. And just listing feats that sound impressive doesn't mean much if their actual yield is lower than Percy.

Wasn't this calced at like 7-C?

Tbf im pretty sure he was meant to be downgraded ages ago but we're not gonna be able to push that through till after the forum move. Until percy gets downgraded this is a massive stomp.

He also scales above Jason, who can create massive storms in the low-end 6-C range.

why is it not allowed? there's no unspoken rules against it. by that logic, anything the op states is out the window.

Because that invalidates the tiering system if stats are equalized

No the op can set distance, location, which key to use, optional equipment and character mindset, even that gets limited if the op seems to be intentionally trying to make a stomp by setting a certain range/mindset.

yeah that's kinda the point. the characters are supposed to use their other abilities to win. the op states they're limited to 7B. they're limited to 7B.

Even if you were right and statistics were equalized, Percy has fought many different enemies that controlled the elements and Aang is no different. He's also vastly superior to Leo, superior to Nico and slightly stronger than Jason and Thalia

You can't do that, you can only choose the characters key and what optional equipment they have, you can't restrict abilities or lock a character to a tier they don't have a key for.

the op can set circumstances. the status of the character falls under that.

Please don't encourage him, if he wants a stat equalized debate it has to be on a fun and games board and wouldn't be added to the profiles.

Match-ups with equalized statistics (with the exception of speed) are not allowed, as they turn the entire tiering system unnecessary.
