Avatar Aang (Avatar: The Last Airbender) vs Percy Jackson (Riordanverse)

guys. not being able to limit characters is like saying you can't pick when in the series you're using them. for example, if the op states it's specifially eos aang, isn't he being limited there? it's ridiculous.

Ok. I don't even know why we're debating. This should be closed.
Im aware my sincere aplogies if I came across as rude, I'd just rather not confuse a seemingly new member over whats allowed.

eos aang is a key, you can't arbitrarly choose what strength a character is set to, its against the rule

No it doesn't its against the rules to restrict a characters abilities...

that's stupid. what kind of debate forum is this then?

That's a key, for a variant that exists. Building level Azathoth does not exist and therefore can't be used.

From the versus thread rules

  • It is not fine to restrict abilities in a versus matchup, implicitly or expressly. Matches that are arranged this way should not be added to the character profiles, as they don't involve their full potential, and are only intended for casual entertainment. An exception would be if the restricted ability/technique has a separate tier from the main one. In this case, the match can be added. The match can also be added if Optional Equipments such as optional power-ups and items are restricted
You can make versus match ups with equalized stats but they would be on the fun and games board as they don't display characters full potential.

you're not rude at all. it's just absolutely laughable that limiting stats is against the rules.

Its the rules for debates that get added to character profiles if you want to create matches with equalized stats they can't be made in the versus thread board and they won't be added to characters profile. You can create fun and games board threads with whatever rules you want.

Ironically a majority of Percy's feats are 7-A/7-B. In fact I can't think of an AP feat for Percy higher than 7-B that doesn't invlove scaling. However, I do conceed that this thread should've been posted on the Fun and Games forum.

He was supposed to get downgraded forever ago, the CRTs just died before anything got decided.

I know. That's why I've written up a bunch of revision threads for all the demigods in the Riordanverse but I haven't posted them as the first, a speed revision thread went completely ignored.
