Apotheosis: Heaven's Cry: Game Thread

He replies, his tone tone calm and collected, yet gentle.

A green pulse of energy exited from the woman, though it seemed harmless. The surroundings began being restructured more rapidly as a result of it, changing nigh instantaneously.

"There is little to gain from such endeavors. You went out of your way to reach here. Unnecessary."
 
"I wouldn't say so, you are a very unique and fashinating being."

He replies.

The woman could notice something odd, as the energy wave was even more effective than it should have normally have been, in fact even the progress of the elementals seemed to have sped up compared to how it was before the man showed up.

It doesn't really have a face that can generate identifiable expressions but you feel as though it is staring at you in judgemental dumbfoundness.

She stares him down, with steely-cold, truly godless eyes.

The slug dissaptes away from the worm.

CRUNCH THUMP

Within the scrapeyard lays hundreds of shattered faces.Manic and with his hands covered in vicera he screeches.

“******* WHOREMONGERERS.I-ARR”

plob.


A sharp inhale fills his lungs.He dropped onto the ground.

“Hmm...no...no! Find; PEOPLE,HUMANS”

His pupils flicker.

"Alright, let me see here..."


He sorts through everything, putting some parts in one capsule of the machine, some in others...

First and foremost, he inserts a capsule full of various bones acquired, and after that, inserts some of the spare ashes from that Skinwalker.

"Alright... hope this works. Oh yeah, also, wear these."

He hands a bunch of goggles to everyone, before putting some on himself. He then makes sure to close the windows and doors and turns off the lights, sending it nearly pitch black if not for some of the glow on some parts of the machine.

"Alright, three, two, one, FUSION-HO!"

He throws a lever, causing the machine to activate. It's luminosity rapidly increases as it gets to work, outputting a distinct mechanical noise that grows ever louder, until...

[leaving you in suspense until you give a reaction of anticipation lol]
 
zephyr does her best to maintain her composure, but when it really comes down to it, she's a weeb that's had an anime girl installed onto her body, so she can't help but lean over the guy's shoulder and watch eagerly.
 
"Haaaaaaaaaaa....."

Jozu crosses his fingers, lightly sweating over his thoughts about possibly missing a chance of getting something cool.

Concrehee-ho gets up, shaking his head.

"This guy doesn't pull his punches, hee-ho... We need to use buffs!"

Concrehee-ho barely manages to move to the side as the man charges forward for a thrust straight at him, before he spins around and is surrounded by a blue aura.

"Rockhee-ho!"

Dy1's feels his body's sturdiness increasing.

"... I don't know how we're going to hit him though, hee-ho... You have anyhee-hoing ideas?"

[Note: I never actually said this before, but, while buffs are only able to be casted on one's self, due to how buddies work, they do also reap the benefits from it. This also works in inverse, as the buddies can buff you.]

[Glory of Alchemy]

It all reaches a crescendo, as finally, the capsules are emptied into the main component and a bright flash of light shines across your vision. By the time it clears...

The main machine pops open, and you can see an earring made of bones, slightly humming with magic. Laoghaire picks it up, and hands it to Jozu.

"Okay, if I've got it correctly... This should allow you to be more in tune with magic, and be able to use such abilities easier, along with recovering faster from use. That's a weird thing I don't quite understand... For some reason, bones just have a connection with Ether and spiritual stuff. Maybe cause ghosts? I dunno, maybe it's not worth questioning. Either way, next up..."

He starts loading the machine with a capsule designed to sheathe some swords, along with some of the extra ash and a single bone, just big enough to perhaps serve as the handle for whatever is about to be created.
 
"Oh well, my powers seem to work differently than on the original Earth. I'm going to look around Madrid, how about you, ninja?"

"Only one and it's probably not good..." Dy1 says, regenning his arm while trying to make distance. He activates Enquickening and then his body would start glowing.

Concrehee-ho could feel getting stronger and faster too, but only twice as strong, and likely four times as fast. "We just... try hitting him multiple times." He quickly presses a button, three clones of Dy1 appearing. All of them teleporting near the opponent, trying to hit him with various slashes.
 
Not quite that fast, but, it's definitely something worthwhile. They can feel the movements of the opponent visibly slowing, with the clones appearing around him faster than he can just dash forth for another attack.

Not to say his speed is to be underestimated, as he still manages to backstep out of the initial flurry of attacks from the clones, before cleaving one in twane with a slash of his blade. He continues to fight against them, clashing blades again and again before he eventually amplifies his speed once more, getting the final rush he needs to to simply rip them apart, cutting them into spare chunks on the ground.

"We're pushing back, hee-ho! Rockhee-ho!"

Their defenses are amplified again, as the opponent manages to regain his stance and stare down the two.

"... Perhaps it was natural that you would be hiding some tricks up your sleeve... Well, if we are to reveal our true selves, allow me to speak my name... I am Douglas, one of the many Rogue Spirits... Dance with death so artfully, and I shall tell you more."

"Rogue Spirit... So that was the bad feeling I got, hee-ho!"
 
The woman doesn't seem to make notice of this. Quickly, several buildings are formed as well as a large area in the center where she stands.

"That assessment is not inaccurate. However, others within this world are much the same."

"An earring? Hm, hm, hmm..... Yeah that's really cool too!"

Jozu immediately puts the earring in his ear.

".....Yeah, this is my jam, I feel my energy moving around much faster inside my body... Hey Zephyr, get your things together too, I want to test my 'Marrowring' soon!"

Jozu does even name his new earring as he gets eager to test his new gear.
 
"I am Dy1an MK2... and you haven't seen what I can fully do yet. For example..." Dy1 quickly does a series of quick claps, and then... a series of explosions follows in a straight line, going forwards and forwards towards the opponent... but also releasing a weird red smoke, making it hard to see... or breathe.
 
"... Marrowring... I actually think that's a good name. Either way, time for our second go!"

As he's done loading the machine, the lights go out yet again, and the lever is flipped. You see the process all over again, as the swords melt down and the bones are deconstructed, preparing...

And after a flash of light, the next arrives. A sword with a bone handle, also minorly emitting the same arua as the so called Marrowring.

"Alright, This thing should have a similar result, with the added ability to send anxiety and fatigue straight into creature's minds and souls... Those truly hardy would probably shrug it off, but, it should be a good weapon against anything it works on."

He hands the sword over, then looks at the remaining supplies.

"And now... sigh, for the final request..."

He starts assembling everything, putting in the various bodily components and the last of the ash into three separate capsules... Bones, fat, muscle, and the remains of a spirit to serve as a basis... And then, Laoghaire puts his hands out, transferring a bit of ether into it to truly give this the potential for life.

"Now, prior warning... Creating living beings can get fickle at times. All of them need some type of soul, and Ether is a the best way to kickstart the process for creating one, but, in turn... Ether can sometimes spontaneously shift, causing strange occurrences and matter to appear out of nowhere in ways you don't want it to. That's how that creature you saw me gun down was generated, I was handling some materials that were... somewhat violate, in that sense. So, you probably want to ready yourselves."
 
"I probably should have asked some more questions before I left." I say Goldie gives me a thumbs up. "We will go back tomorrow I guess."

Me and Goldie scout out the other shops.

He's taken aback somewhat as it blows up in his face, but, as he takes a moment to regain his composure... He simply starts to walk through it, unbothered.

... At this moment, you realize... He isn't breathing whatsoever. There's nothing to even interrupt at all.

"Then allow me to show you one of my tricks!"

His blade starts to gain a sickening energy to it... Your danger sense flares up. If this gets a direct hit on a vital component... That might spell your end.

From there, he moves forward, a lethal intent starting to be carried in his quickening steps...

Then, suddenly, a blast of concrete appears in front of him, throwing his momentum off as he's hit with several different shards, cutting at him and fusing his arm with the road.

"Not so fast, hee-ho, don't think you can forget about me that easily!"

"... I don't need to think about the obvious. Grr..."

With some brute force, he rips his arm free of Concrehee-ho's grasp... Though, more troubling, Dy1 can notice the shards simply... becoming nothing, as he does so. But not too much time to mull on it, as he starts moving forward yet again.

[Glory of Alchemy]

The lights go dim and the switch is flipped. The materials go in, a light from the machine flashes once again...

And in it is... as requested, a female partner. Wearing leather armor across their body and a muscular frame, and anyone who looks [you know who you are] finds their bust to be around B cup.

"... Jeez, can someone turn on the light? Can't help people out if I can't see anything."

"I was gettin' to that!"

The lights are flipped on, and she walks a bit forward.

"Alright... I'm... ugh... I wasn't really given a name, so you mind? Whoever I'm going to be bonded with for life?"
 
"'Hi there' is not a name I want to have announced when we're fighting Demon Lord Lucifer or whatever you plan to take me to."

Her response is just as dry as it is quick witted.
 
Dy1 activates Enquickment once again, now this time teleporting behind Douglas, to try and grab him... activating a combination of Freezing Shard and Supple Rock. As some clones quickly appear to grab him too. Trying to restrain him.
