Heaven's Dogma (RP Thread)

"It's not that they don't exist, rather people just prioritize their survival over anything else. It's a deeply ingrained belief.", Taiga answered while observing Nimah.

"You see, big bro researched and discovered that this centipede thing has likely been alive since the very beginning of the Citadel which explains how it got so big. From what we have learned, the first group ever to survive being swallowed took refuge in the Small Intestines over a hundred years ago. They were the first generation, the ones who created the rules and taught them to those who followed. The second generation then made sure the third also followed in their footsteps and the third did the same to the fourth. See what I'm trying to say? There were only a dozen of them or so at the start. We would have been able to make a difference then, but now there are hundreds living in this place. How can you convince so many people to change the only way of life that they have known for so long?", he looked at Akarui and asked.
"Well, it's not like I was trying to. Whatever it is that kept them alive, then it'll be my duty to keep it that way. If all of them are safe, then allow me to bear the responsibility of keeping that safety..." the fox replied.

"....So you're the kid everyone was getting their panties in a twist about on the boat." Kurai said with a sigh, looking at the girl through her mask. "...Honestly. You're just a brat. If people are taking advantage of kids like you then we may as well start putting babies suckling on mama's teat into child labor..."
The Witness burst out laughing as if Kurai just told a really funny joke.

"Blissfully ignorant you are. Eye find that quite hilarious.", he sighed and calmed down.
"Right..." Aurum sounded very slightly unconvinced

"Yeahahahah...' Aurum laughed nervously "P-people have definitely tried...!" The girl said, even Kurai was taller than her, and chances were she was less scrawny than Aurum too
"And they failed to do so every single time. Isn't that right?", he asked Aurum.
"Well, it's not like I was trying to. Whatever it is that kept them alive, then it'll be my duty to keep it that way. If all of them are safe, then allow me to bear the responsibility of keeping that safety..." the fox replied.
"Wow. I... didn't expect you to understand so easily. You're a smart one.", the tiger complimented.

"Because I talked them down like half the time... You were always obscured in shadows and just swift fury...!" Aurum responded with the sharpness of someone who tried to fancy themselves a leader-- and her confidence had gone up since she'd started trying to be even remotely one.

"The fact that you managed to talk them down at all is good enough. Not many possess that kind of skill. The woman in front of you doesn't for example.", he encouraged.

"...Uh huh. Whatever you say, dude." Kurai sighed. She didn't really seem to care. She let out a yawn, one she couldn't keep hidden in her gut, groaning.

"...I'm so God damn tired that I think the brain cells i need to even process this conversation have already rotten away."

"If you wish to, you can take a nap right here. It's not like we're gonna do anything to you.", the man said as he opened his suitcase and took out two items. It was a sleeping bag and a pillow. Yeah, he had to be extra.

"You'd be surprised how high the demand for these are. A lot of people really just want to sleep well.", the Watcher murmured as he set up a spot for her to rest.

"...I'd rather jump into the stomach acid with no armor on then sleep around you weirdos." Kurai groaned, "...But I'll take the pillow. To rest my eyes."
