Yes but in character ainz is going straight for the kill what is the slime doing? He still has to get it off before ainz in chacter timestops/grasp hearts.

Not my point, from what you told me slime starts off by examiing his opponent hes not immediatly going to go for a high damage instant kill ablitity while ainz is. Ive asked on the general discussion thread for overlord, hopefully we'll get some knowledge people on ainz use of timestop. saying that he used it against a dragon lord he didn't know while protecting evileye.

Rimuru tanks all magic damage (no matter if it's death magic or not) via general magic resistance, escpacially considering his AP advantage. After timestop ends, Rimuru one-shots with any of his attacks and gets absorbed immdietly afterward. Or Rimuru just eats him with Gluttony in the first place.

Ainz won't even get a chance to use TGOALID.

It's still magic. Either way. In the first place Rimuru got Control Magic which allows him to control magic power directly. And Rimuru got his 1000x reaction speed amp too.

Oh right. If the resistance is significantly stronger than the potency of an attack, then the attack gets outright nullified. Or so it goes in Slimeverse.

The pen or the sword said:
Question in character would slime allow a spell to hit him? Would he instantly go for the magic nullification?
IIRC thats never happened, for magic null he Null Chloe magic, unless you can hide your magic from him he Null it

What is it? from what they said magic nullification instantly takes away ainz victory condition as he cant cast, from what they said its not an active effect it just nulls everything in the vicinity he doesn't want to be cast.
