Blog enigma comic
This is Enigma from Dota 2. His ultimate is Black Hole.

According to his in-game lore. He is the fundamental force of gravity itself.

Does this make his Black Hole a real one? If I create his page what tier should he be?

P.S. Other characters being able to survived this move is game mechanics for gameplay balance purposes.

I don't doubt that Enigma can make actual black holes, though black hole feats are kinda tricky. However, it is stated in both his lore and the description of the ability that he has the power to destroy worlds, so maybe he could be put at 5-B. I would wait and see what others have to say though.

Wouldn't a real black hole be durability ignoring? That the only way to survive a black hole is through FTL flight or teleportation, just to get out of range of the spaghettification?

Usage of black holes for AP is pretty wonky given that it doesn't follow much logic, so it would be best to put it under haxx.

I don't really like it to be used for tiering but...

7. Attack Potency from creating black holes

Black holes have many special and amazing properties, but aside from the parts that can not be quantified in a number, which Attack Potency would one get for creating a black hole?ÔÇ¿

In general creating a black hole is about equal to creating any other celestial bodies. Usually creating a planet is seen as planet level and creating a star is seen as star level etc.

So how do black holes rank? The answer lies in their mass. Usually stellar black holes have masses ranging from about 5 to several tens of solar masses and can easily be assumed to be at least star level, if not large star level. But some characters also have the ability to create very small black holes and some black holes in fiction may even be extremely large. So how do we rank them?

The good thing is that there is an easy formula that lets us approximate the mass of black holes based on the radius of the event horizon. It is:

where:

rs is the Schwarzschild radius (radius of the event horizon);
G is the gravitational constant;
M is the mass of the object;
c is the speed of light in vacuum.
(To shamelessly copy from Wikipedia)

So if we know the size we can just set in all values and can easily solve to M. By comparing their mass to the mass of the earth or our sun one can easily assume the Attack Potency levels one would get.

A more confortable way may be calculators for the mass and size of a black hole such as this one or thisone.

Sauce: Black Hole feats in fictio

Dota characters not being ripped to pieces by his Black Hole attack is purely game mechanics. That and there's not really any mention of him creating black holes in his actual lore (at least not that I can remember), so the only size we have to go off if is the size of the in-game attack.

Maybe this Black Hole is only a little trick of him. Enigma is also the embodiment of void, darkness and nothingness which might put him at 3-A.

He is the void and darkness of every universe just like Chaos Knight being chaos itself in every universe. He is a concept like cosmic beings in Marvel. He could be anywhere between 3-A to 2-C.

3-A deals with the physical matter of the universe and 2-C deals with space-time. Enigma does not follow either of these definitions. His likely characteristics are an unknown tier with omnipresence. As for whether or not his black hole is real, it's possible.

There are some calcs (like megaman) who calculate black hole creation to be large star level.

@TMR Energy required to create Black holes can vary massively.

But surviving one is nearly impossible if you are at the singularity. It requires infinite durability to survive the tidal forces. Also because of the singularity's infinite density time stops to an outside observer in a black hole. 1 second for you in the singularity = infinite years in the outside world. So yeah black holes are pretty hax. But at the very least High 3-A(AP only) because of tidalwaves.

The only thing that's Universal in a real life black hole is the singularity and unless they are a higher dimensional being (4-dimensional) or exceed that of time and space then it's an outlier as 3D characters cannot survive, create or collapse a singularity.
