9-B Brackets | Round 2

Also, it looks like that fall killed Jaws in the video. So they should scale considerably below it.

But it's a feat nonetheless.

It didn't, he was alive afterwards. He didn't come out unscathed by any means though

We can go through the fight if you still want I guess. I don't think it's an AP stomp but if it isn't it's super decisive

Baldi one-shots the player who shrugs off 18.32 KJ, Assefa's charge attack is 152.7 KJ

Nah, go ahead with round 3, I think it's not an AP stomp at least. Maybe give Baldi home ground advantage to compensate?

Ok. Will do. Gonna be a wee bit though, cause I have to do classwork. Hold tight, everyone

It shouldn't actually be an AP stomp now that I think about it. Do around 3 and just kinda give Baldi some extra help that in the end won't help

Extra help?

I guess we're assuming the gap will be less than 7.5x then.

@Arsenal

So what did happen after Jaws fell? Was the guy even injured?

No not really hahaha. He was a tad injured but not only was he alive, but he helps Bond win in the end

I'm honestly a bit amazed by that lack of logic in a Bond film. Then again, maybe I'm giving spy films in general too much credit in that department.

Ahhh. You're not familiar with old Bond films then.

I'll explain.

James Bond used to be THE spy. No one even came close to bond's success. So to extend the franchise into different areas, Ian Fleming and subsequently the studio behind Bond films (The Broccoli Family) decided to make them more about fun then realism. Adventures going into space, jaws.... as a character, all the cheesy spy stuff. Fleming died and with just the books to go on, the Broccoli family decided to continue in this direction, as while critically they were only ok movies, audiences loved them. Fast forward to the Craig era and now Bond isn't the only spy around. Seeing the critical and commercial success of Jason Bourne, Jack Reacher etc and how down to Earth those franchises are, they decided to explore the avenue, which is why the more recent Bond movies aren't as goofy. Fast forward to now and Casino Royale and Skyfall are two of the best in the whole series and even though Quantum of Solace flopped, that was more due to a writers strike going on at the time. Audiences loved the new gritty James Bond and that's what we're at now.

A little history lesson to make up your monday or Tuesday hahaha

You guys are mean, making poor Jibanyan get beaten up by a secret agent that is way out of his league.

I mean, not only does Trevelyan outskill and have more experience than Jibanyan, but Jibanyan's primary attack method is all CQC, whereas Trevelyan will easily pull out a gun and take him out. To be fair, Jibanyan sometimes uses his Fire attack, but nine times out of ten, he'll charge up for an attack. He also lacks the killer instinct that Trevelyan possesses, as he's normally a very lazy character who doesn't even want to fight for Nate half the time.

Overall, I call stomp. Jibanyan's typical form of attack, along with his overall demeanor, added onto the skill and experience gap, makes this fight completely unfair for the poor cat.
