9-B Brackets | Round 1

I mean we were gonna let Pepsiman in who is literally like 0.03 joules of being small building, and the highest wall level AP on this wiki. Him destroying this tournament doesn't mean he isn't valid

But him destroying this tournament makes it unfair and pointless in the end, and half the battles he's in wouldn't even be added so there wouldn't be a point! The same goes here. It wouldn't matter because it doesn't even give a character more wins or losses, except like maybe one.

Seems like we need some stronger Wall Level characters. I know The Player (Death Road to Canada), Pepsiman, and anyone that back scales for their AP rating can scale

DBD is fine. We have had similar issues in previous tournaments, where a few really good dudes sweep a bunch of the competition. We should just offer people the opportunity to change their character out if they feel the need to

But still why change the entire brackets for one insanely powerful character?

I also don't have another 9-B anyways

Why ban a character just cuz he is really powerful. Let me take a quick look at the bracket and check who has win conditions.

What verses do you use?

If there's gonna be hax

I will 100% add a D&D 9-B

since they resisto

Because he stomps the entirety of the competition and just...it's be easier to get rid of him then change everything?

Full of 9-B's, dude. All baseline, though.

that's a liiiiiiittle bit different

I think so? I dunno, just asking.
I don't think that really answers the question. They're your brackets, bud. So, what do you plan to do with them? Risci mentioned it earlier and I did originally that 9-B is a wide tier. Folk seemingly wanted the lower half of 9-B, but there was never an actual AP limit given. So, what do you want to do?

It will probably be best to just leave him in. Many other fighters can get matches. If you want to move around the placement so that he will face people who can make him like Unzen, then maybe that will be the cleaner option. No one gets removed but we still get relatively fair matches

@Christian

What do you think about the option about just moving around who goes against who so that DBD will have fair fights against people who can contend with him

It's up to you, lol.

It may not even be that the brackets need reshuffling in total. Only one or two places may need to be switched if anything is going to happen.

But I mean, there will be a stomp match eventually. Whether it's the next round, the semi-finals, or the finals. So I don't really see it making too much of a difference, aside from a few fighters being eliminated due to stomps. But since is the tier of 9-B.

Okay, makes sense. I guess switch it up a little and call this one over.

Well, considering hax is mostly changing this up, I feel I'll have to change my own choice in this thing.

Well, I mean, everyone be discussing how powerful and OP DBD is, when DBD has actually lost this.

Score is 8-4 at the moment with PoY in the lead
