Wow, I have totally never seen this matchup before.

Anyway, leaning toward Saitama for now due to greater AD and Martial Arts Copying. Goku can't turn into a Super Saiyan at will in this key, it requires immense rage and don't see Saitama doing anything that will make Goku that mad.

Goku of course has the skill advantage here at the beginning, but thats pretty irrelevant, as Saitama martial arts copying allowed him to match a guy who was leagues above him in skill prior.

That Class Y lifting strength might also help, since OPM characters are inclined to use LS IN Combat.
 
Well Farfetch needs to be more specific. I believed this was Namek since OP used a image from that Arc and the fight took place there. ¯\(ツ)/¯

But even if Goku does turn Super Saiyan, i believe Saitama might still have a chance.

Saitamas AD is unnoticeably small until he gets to a near-death situation, or unless he's bloodlusted in which case it only starts kicking after a significant amount of time. Given Goku also has a pretty good AD this shouldn't really give Saitama an advantage.

Well SBA make them use the strongest/most recent keys. Meaning this should be the strongest 3-C Goku version unless specified otherwise.

However if this is Early Cell Arc Goku then yeah, he stomps. I see Goku turning Super Saiyan and outskilling and one shotting before AD achieves anything likely.
 
Goku aint outskilling Sacana, but if he has Super Saiyan it's a stomp, if he doesnt then Santana wins
 
If this is the Goku that fought Metal Cooler, he didn't immediately go Ssj and used the Kaio-ken a fair bit before going Ssj
 
If Goku don't immediately go Ssj then Saitama wins because his adaptation will make him envolve

His insane AD would kick in the moment Goku starts to give him a good fight. I don't know where this idea came from that Saitama has bad AD.

Uhh no? We know the emotional upsurge Saitama felt from seeing basically all his friends get brutally murdered in front of him caused his AD to become exponential and yet it took half of the Garou fight to start even being noticeable.
Without the exponential aspect caused by Goku killing Genos Saitamas AD wouldn't even be noticeable to him until Saitama reaches a near death point where it would give him at best a single one shot boost which would already be counteracted by Gokus own AD.

He has EOG because of his understanding of the universes energies. In other words it's because of his knowledge which doesn't really mean all that much in this context.
 
Can Saitama interact with Goku's passive ki aura that can fry anything that tries to touch him?
 
Goku FRA, Saitama's AD is not enough to help and is not that impressive unless he is in near death or has intense emotional upsurge
 
Saitama's AD isn't enough? Right after Garou first copied Serious Saitama in Earth, they went to IO right after the clash. When they started fighting, Saitama was already blitzing him and overpowering him easily. This is including Garou's own growth as well, which in milliseconds he's shown to went from Mountain to Continent Levels while fighting Black Sperm and Flashy Flash.

Where it became hard to being noticeable is when Garou constantly copied Saitama, even then it was quite noticeable for Garou, not being able to keep up at all.

Also "emotional upsurge" isn't necessarily extreme situations like the death of everyone as well. While showering, he was angry he couldn't see his back in the mirror while turning around. after trying it a few times and getting angry, he's seemingly succeeded. Shown to one shot enemies that can harm him right after being pushed to his limits as well which the growth happens instantly.

As long as Goku doesn't instantly use Super Saiyan and instantly two-shot him, his AD should be more than enough for him to overpower. (Don't know much about Goku's AD from toei version)

He grew to 4.324 YottaFoe on IO alone, and likely way higher since we have Garou’s AP at 1.351 YottaFoe, which is only 3 times weaker than Saitama’s, yet the narrator said that Saitama had reach a level far beyond Gorou’s understanding

I see this fight going like this: Both characters holding back initially, with Saitama winning due to 6.8x AP advantage, then goku goes kioken x10/20 and starts challenging Saitama, then Saitama gets hype and his exponential growth kicks in. By that time it would be too late

Goku could one or two shot if he goes all out from like the first exchange, but he didn't even do that against Metal Cooler

It has an unknown timeframe. Also we didn't see his last growth.

He wasn't blitzing Garou. We literally have a graph showing they weren't growing at all until the end of the fight.

Garous growth is reactive so him being equal to Saitama wouldn't trigger it.

The only thing we know made him emotional enough was seeing Genos get murdered in front of his eyes by someone who just committed mass murder of all heroes and was on par with his stats.

It would be completely baseless to assume that simply being challenged would cause his emotions to "upsurge" like that.

I've let yall get away with spreading misinformation for wayyyyy too long and it's a little ridiculous. Saitama's exponential AD kicks in whenever he has an upsurge of emotion, as stated by the narrator.

Part of Saitama's character is that he can not find anyone who is powerful enough to fight him. It's why he's depressed and can't feel human emotion. In his fight against the subterrainians, we saw that he was getting beat up, but the moment he started to feel the thrill of a real fight, he grew in strength to the point to where he could defeat an entire army of them. The same thing happeneed against Garou. Saitama even stated that normally he would have been extremely excited to fight Garou due to him being strong, but because he murdered Genos, that excitement was simply replaced with anger.

Against Goku, Saitama would absolutely feel the excitement of a real fight, and because this is in-character, Goku would want the fight to be as fun as possible as well, meaning that he'd only be feeding Saitama's AD. The fight would just get to a point to where Goku gets completely overwhelmed and defeated.

I don't think it'd be in-character for Goku to instantly bust out Super Saiyan and one shot like people are suggesting? Goku seeks out good fights just like Saitama.

I also don't remember any feats that make Goku's AD as good as Saitama's, either. Afaik he has to recover from a grievous injury to gain notable jumps in power.
