    They're currently scaled to 6-C for being able to survive attacks from a casual Defense Armor Sensui...who's Low 6-B. Shouldn't they be High 6-C for that? I mean, they're not close enough to be on his level, but High 6-C works fine.

    This is only a possibility. So, when Hiei was fighting Bui, he had his DotDF attack reflected right back at him, and the dragon ate him. Hiei absorbs the attack, but not before it reduced him to nothing. While he did Xcode back from that because he absorbed the dragon, if Hiei stayed as ashes...
