Admiral Aokiji vs Hiei

Hiei's elemental resistance extends to ice manipulation? If so, coupled with the fact that his fire / heat based abilities seem like a hard counter to Aokiji's, I guess he should take this.

Hiei resisted being frozen by Seiryu, a class c fodder demon we never heard from again. And even then, he was still stronger then him. I am skeptical it would work on someone of the same level.
That said, we dont have a concrete calc for Hiei's ap and he is just country level via word of god and dialogue.
Aokiji does have the better defense, but Hiei has the way better skills. He can vaporize a person with ease so it nullifies aokiji's regen. Aokiji has the better experience and is faster, but Hiei has the better ability and resistances.
And this is not by a small factor, Hiei scales to mach 100-200, and Aokiji is like, at least mach 800-900.
If speed is not equalized, aokiji speed blitzes.
If speed is equalized, Hiei with mid diff.
He just can kill aokiji faster then he can probably get frozen himself. Has better range as the DOTDF can go on for kilometers.
Aokiji saving grace he likely can protect himself from Hiei's other fire techniques, but I doubt he can survive DOTDF.
