    From what i could see in the scan, it is literally stated that his nothingness is the true form beyond his normal source of nothingness, and said true nothingness is unbound by reason, and iirc, reason also include normal nothingness. His source of nothingness was destroyed completely, thus reveal the true nothingness beyond said source, not simply he get erased further.
