Team Fortress General Discussion

Your guy's opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Just a heads up i found better renders for the characters, as they are fullbody 2d images from the official tf2 wiki, so feel free to add them if you wish.

Would we be able to scale the upgraded minigun (and also the Short Circuit ig) to the Cow Mangler via the former being able to delete the latter's shots with the Destroy Projectiles upgrade? And before you ask, yes, this can in fact happen in-game if you get a Deflector Heavy to use its own upgraded minigun to delete your Cow Mangler shots.
Actually, you can do that against Robots with the Cow Mangler, so all the more reason to scale honestly.

But imo, there is literally no reason the mercenaries shouldn’t scale to the vaporization weapons physically, since the only time they are actually vaporized is when they are literally about to die, ie, already heavily weakened, and the fact that they should downscale from Robot Giants who don’t get vaporized. There’s also the fact that they can survive Bominomicon Bombs, which can harm Merasmus enough to stun him, who can easily tank them

They were also apparently able to fight Saxton Hale at some point

Imo, the mercs fighting Saxton Hale is an outlier. Three of them combined did literally nothing to the Yeti, who was casually exploded by Saxton Hale. Though, I wouldn't be opposed to stuff like Spy's Backstab, and the Market Gardner scaling, since they're one of the few things that can actually damage Hale by a noticeable amount, especially the former, since it's one of the few things that can make Hale feel pain.

Doesnt Sniper also deal good dmg?

Eh, Spy’s Backstab and the Market Gardner are the only two things that deal noticeable damage with unique voicelines. And Hale is stated to be bulletproof by Medic, so, imo, it shouldn’t scale.
Can you remind me what Snipers Headshot does to Saxton? I remember there was a special affect am I wrong

No, I mean sources on this existin w/out interfering w/ proper allegiances.

Early 1972

Takeover of Mann Co.

Main article: Ring of Fired
After the Mercenaries successfully defend Mann Co. against the robot attacks, wary of another intractable stalemate, Gray decides to change his approach. He goes directly to Saxton Hale at Mann Co.'s headquarters, and declares that the war is over — he gives up. But then he says he is there for the Mann Co. Challenge, offering a fight with Hale for the ownership of the company, a policy Hale made himself. After Hale grabs and punches Gray with ease, Gray declares that he is not the one who will be fighting, but instead Gray's daughter named Olivia, an underage girl, will fight Hale. Hale refuses to fight her, ultimately granting Mann Co. ownership to Gray who later sends the mercenaries after him. However Hale wouldn't go out without a fight and manages to escape all the while causing severe damage to what was once his proprety. After this, Gray proceeds to fire the mercenaries for theirs failure while the Administrator orders Miss Pauling, her assistant, to hide. The mercenaries scatter, but Scout and Spy are later arrested before they managed to escape Teufort.

"Attention, Mann Co. employees! I, Gray Mann, am the new CEO of Mann Co.! And I order you to get Hale out of my property!"

Don't see why VSH wouldn't be a thing, given it is an official update, and the fact that it doesn't contradict the timeline of events
