    Earlier acts vary: Act 1 tends to vary between 9-B and 9-A with the greatest showings already having been made (Grym as a Low 7-B, W'wargaz as a High 8-C to 8-A). Act 2 similarly varies, obviously with Ketheric scaling much higher than his compatriot bosses here (Dame Aylin being an exception and explicit equal to Ketheric, even in his new ascended form).

    Level scaling has been deemed by the D&Dbros to be a fall-back for scaling- that is, it can be used if there exists no other method of scaling. A good example of this is Grym, who is leveled atrociously low in-game and yet by all lore accounts should be at least a Low 7-B, hence his being rated as such. It is because of this that I would find it difficult to give a one-size-fits-all scale to you that matches how we currently handle D&D on the site: instead, I suggest you ask me about a character and I can offer insight specifically for that character.

    As for Act 3, it is a considerably sized cascading mess, as previously mentioned. There is little uniformity to the powers and strengths of the various actors on the stage. Major characters vary from Lorroakan, who is a charlatan and specifically incapable of batting where he claims to bat (and is probably around 8-C or so) to Cazador, who is at the very least Low 7-B if not higher, to Ansur, who is very likely an ancient bronze dragon (which would make him 6-C or so). Raphael is most certainly insanely powerful, although the extent of this is not known- being the heir to an archdevil throne implies either 6-C or Low 6-B/6-B. I say all of this to illustrate the wide variety of ratings that would exist.

    Speed ratings would be directly linked to AP, so I can just tell you straight up which of the speed calcs they scale to, that bit isn't a problem. LS is similarly fairly simple.

    Weird question, but I was recently looking back at some bloodborne stuff on the wiki and saw this scaling blog you posted a while back.

    Even though some of things feel outdated (like the moving of the Moon still being attributed to Rom) I was wondering if you had any thoughts on what from this thread would still be valid. I’m planning on hopefully contributing more to the Bloodborne pages in general soon.

    Fair. As of now, I really just had ideas for calculating other feats that probably wouldn’t add new tiers, but just reinforce existing ones. For example, Rom’s Metors, Ebrietas’s a call beyond, etc. I also wanted to take a look at Amygdala’s laser attack, since I recently found in the strategy guide it is quite literally made of light. Anyways, thank you for the confirmation.

    Note that for higher statements (such as light speed stuff) we have a fairly high ceiling of evaluation- even if it says light, how we'd regard it may not be as light speed. Amygdala's laser seems to me like something we would say "this doesn't act like light, it's not light".

    Still, I welcome Bloodborne work, do feel free to reach out to me for calc help and evaluation. It is my favorite video game of all time (or, at least, wrestles for that title with Darkest Dungeon).

    I'm doing an RPG profile, but it's basically impossible to calculate speed things, like throwing electricity/lightning at someone.

    The spell is played and any enemy in the game can block/dodge it. What speed should I put in "speed"? If it is not possible to calculate it.

    I tried a lot on several guys and no one is dodging/blocking the Shocking Fury. I don't know if there is no way to dodge/block this attack or if the chance is low. At most I saw "x enemy ignored the attack" and I don't even know what that means.

    Well, for now I'll have to forget about that idea until I see someone dodging/blocking or get the Lightning Bolt and see if it's the same thing.

    If something ignores an attack, normally this implies immunity (in this case, to lightning damage).

    I'm going to do a little gameplay of me walking and using some magic on a skeleton.

    gameplay.

    In the gameplay I walked a little, then used the "touch of flame" spell to burn the skeletons. Then I used "Zap" to electrify them, but they are skeletons and electricity doesn't do much damage to them.

    The interesting thing about Zap is that the description says it is natural electricity and they can deviate from that. The problem is that it's through touch, so it could be argued that they simply deflected my hand, and that my hand wouldn't move at the speed of electricity.

    I used the magic through the chat, but I can also put it on a key, in this case F1 for me, but I used the chat to show you what I used.

    Meridian59 was the first 3D RPG in the world, and because of a Brazilian YouTuber the game has more players (maximum 40), most of them Brazilian. It's cool because you almost always meet basically the same people, so you end up remembering the players more.

    on the EE page, it is stated that "This ability's destructive power is not absolute, and one should not assume that it can erase the soul by default. It can only be judged by what it has accomplished,"
    does the purpose of the word 'soul' in this context mean 'non-physically'?

    And what is stated on Incorporeality page regarding "Killing Incorporeal Beings":

    "Incorporeal beings can be killed through:

    • Soul Manipulation, as long as the entity in question has a soul.
    • Reality Warping
    • Conceptual Manipulation
    • Time Manipulation."

    Regarding the type of reality warping that can kill Incorporeal beings, does there need to be a demonstrated feat or example showing the effectiveness of these abilities against incorporeal beings to claim that these abilities can kill them? In other words, should there be evidence or precedent indicating that these powers can indeed affect incorporeal beings before making such a claim?

    I believe "soul" is used here to refer to any non-substantial component of the being, so yes.

    Generally speaking, yes, Reality Warping does not automatically possess the ability to interact with the soul and needs to show such a capability- it is just that such an ability most frequently can.

    Although, I should note that RW could, even without direct interaction with the soul, indirectly affect it presuming that soul is within the "reality" that is being warped. Make of this what you will.

    1 - Would breaking a soul in half, whether with weapons or magic, be soul hax?

    2 - Would using magic on a soul be soul hax? (burning, freezing, electrifying, poisoning, paralyzing, etc.)

    I've seen some verses with soul hax for some of these things, but I've also seen people saying that breaking souls in half or using magic on them is just NPI, so I don't know.

    And I don't think the Soul hax and NPI hax page goes into great detail about the difference between them and what can be considered what.

    Uncertain. Does the magic have some particularly special interaction with the soul, or is it just hitting it? Non-Physical Interaction covers the latter.

    The main thing is specific interactions with the soul. Hitting something with your sword isn't a special interaction, but if said sword was explicitly like "this gives soulburn, causing your soul to burn away and you die", then you're entirely within reason to call that Soul Manipulation. As long as the applications are clear, I don't think you need to stress much about it one way or the other.

    No, I'm not a staff member who responds to Harry Potter CRTs. I have no real interest in them, I consumed the media many years ago and moved on. The fact is that staff just sorta have to respond to stuff that's requested of 'em, I think I just do it slightly more than others (and I have a soft spot for CRTs in limbo).

    Now, a hidden rule I run is that I will deliberately choose CRTs for verses with less activity compared to shit like the most popular anime/comics/etc. The second hidden rule is that if I get asked to look at the same verse in succession, I will quietly lower the priority of that verse for each time. I got asked to do a shitload of Godzilla CRTs and calcs and then I stopped going to them, simply too many CRTs.

    I'll take a look at this, but I want people to understand that I'm not an exception of the staff, I just operate by different creeds.

    I have a question regarding a future CRT I'm planning. Basically, there is a character who possesses a powerful "accelerated development" ability that allows him to limitlessly evolve to always be stronger than his opponent, although it is not instantaneous. That character would be 12D in attack potency as a baseline level. However, during one fight in the story, he's obligated to fight against a clone of himself possessing the same ability. In the end, he grows so strong that he partially destroys a 13D realm as collateral damage.

    He also states the following: "No matter who the person is or from where story they come from, in this place my setting/chara design is invincible." (The only exception is the MC but that's something else)

    Would that be too much to assume he could, hypothetically, reach High 1-B against an opponent of this level? Even as a "possible rating"?

    My opinion, "possibly higher" covers it totally fine. It certainly shouldn't be High 1-B under any interpretation- expanding ever upward does not equate to reaching infinity. The most generous possible interpretation would be at most 1-B- I am not of the habit of giving the most generous possible interpretation, however, and think "possibly higher" is fine enough.
