  • I have many responsibilities on this site, and this means I only wear each hat for as long as is necessary. Therefore, you may leave CRT/calc eval/whatever requests, and I will try to get to it, but understand that my time is limited and I'm normally already tapped for some wiki policy matter or maintaining the wiki management threads or handling account issues for users who never seem to get things right. Low priority requests include tiershit, particularly active verses, and discussions with a lot of active staff voices already present. I'm not saying "no" but I probably won't get to them. If I don't reply, smart money says it won't be me to get to it. Sorry.
Could you please comment on this thread?
    Heya! I have a question.

If canonically, a fight happened between character A and Character B.
Character A is controlled by the player and may unlock a spell being SoL before the fight with character B (that's the normal game here, not some farming stuff or anything).
Can I use this "fight" to justify their speed (SoL/FTL) with something like "Character B fought Character A who possess a SoL spell"? Or do I absolutely need some sort of calc?

Hello. I have finished working on the changes on the TWD main page. I will start working on changes in profiles later. Can you please take a look (This is the first time I've done such big edits)
Hello! if you have time, can you please check this out?

Please provide just a moment of input, to this very simple crt.

Hello, good Mr. Bambu, it's been a while. I would like to ask you a favor as soon as you have the time to correct me and verify the calculation a colleague made regarding the level of feat that the character Cid/Shadow performed.

Note; If the link does not work, I will leave one here separately, I will wait for a response, and then I will explain the reason, thank you.

Hey Bambu! Hope youre doing well! I originally sent this to Qawsed but figured you'd be the guy to ask about this. Apologies in advance for the length of the question:

For context, I've been recently getting into DnD and for the most part understand the cosmology in full up until the Luminous Being. I've seen the justification for the High 1-A tier and I think it's pretty straight forward, but I was wondering if there were any additional scans or statements to support the idea that no matter how many layers there are above the Far realm, the LM will always be inaccessibly more powerful in relation to the setting? The explanations make sense, but I was just curious about more scans to support it if possible. Thanks in advance!
    Abeastiry
Sorry, I think the way I worded my question implied I was asking for statements about the LB's superiority/inaccessible nature. I was mostly asking if there are any scans or statements showing that there exist or can exist an infinite number of layers above the Far realm, since that is mentioned is mentioned on the LB page but I can't find anything talking about infinite layers above that realm, only that the uvuudaum transcend father llymic or something to that effect. If that's what you were responding to, then apologies if that's the case.
    Abeastiry
Bump. Sorry if you're busy. Just rephrased my question so hopefully it makes more sense and is clear now.

    Mr. Bambu
Oh, I didn't even see your reply.

My original statement applies, there's not many scans or statements about The Luminous Being at all. Just that they do exist, they're above the setting, and serve as a tie-in for the DM. As it is shown that there are layers with the Far Realm (with Uvuudaum serving as the Lord of the place), it logically follows that no matter how many layers you add, you cannot surpass the person running the game. This is the basis of the tier, approved back in the day by Ultima and Aeyu.

You result 11.35 m/s should work?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I think even that is probably a scuffed ass result, due to the nuance of accounting for Norman Reedus' arm length and the general inconsistency of using angsizing for such incredibly close quarters, but at least the math is right about it, yeah.

Can i ask something about abstract existence type 2 and immortality type 8? If you dont mind obviously
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I think you and any other user are free to create threads at your leisure. If the thing works like you say it works, your debunking really only involves proving that and pointing out, as best as you can manage, that this isn't really what Abstract Existence Type 2 is.

I don't make any promises, no. But I might.
Hello. Can you give your opinion on these two moments pls
    First:
Daryl doesn't dodge the bullet. The bullet hits another place. But Daryl, after sound of shot, manages to bend down a little before the bullet hits the wall. (That is, he manages to make a little head down move before the bullet hits another place. Better watch in 0,25 speed)
Could this be a speed feat?
    Starts 0:06

    Second:
Rosita tracking a crossbow bolt with her eyes. (Better watch frame by frame)
Could this be a speed feat?
    Starts 0:11
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
Can you show me the proof that he moved before the bullet reached its position, because this is now the third angle I've heard on this feat and I'm honestly befuddled how you're proving this. He moves while the dust from the impact is moving, but what of the bullet, as that is the object with hundreds of meters per second speed. Where is the bullet.

The second feat: we could actually, yes, calculate the speed of her turning her head like that. She turns 90 degrees in 4 frames on 25 fps, that is 0.16 seconds. If someone wanted to try to get a speed out of that, it could be done, but the crossbow is something she's already looking at beforehand (and thus has time to register it firing).

I'm not familiar with any community called "abc", no.

I've heard of the guy posing as me associated with some of those users, though. Most certainly not me- I'd never have an anime profile picture, they're doing a poor job imitating me. Thanks for bringing this up.

what will you do? their accounts are still on vsb, especially williamxjoe and others
Hello Mr. Bambu, I have a question.

Imagine a character having a knife with the capacity of traveling to the past when thrown (not by sheer speed, but simply because the weapon has that ability) to kill the target's past self. Is it warranted to give an "immeasurable" thanks to the knife for this character ? Wouldn't it be more logical for it to merely be a hax ?
hi, can u give u input here?

Ionization is a weird method, looking back on it, I dunno if I'd still stand by those calcs. Still, I support the initiative, as I still very much adore XCOM. I seem to recall animations of soldiers dodging projectiles somewhat, although those animations of missed shots have always been very dodgy and odd. I can't think of anything in particular for LS off the top of my head, unfortunately.
    Tomfer
    Tomfer
I'm using your (old ass) suggestions as a base, hence why I'm still using ionization.

Speed-wise... Yeah, they don't really look like dodging and more of the opponent's fault for missing them, but still... I guess it can still be used? If nothing else comes. LS-wise, yeah, I guess I'll just put them as Athletic Humans since they're soldiers.

On another note, I've seen a very old CRT where you offered to put Sectoid's scaling as "possible" because Soldiers, while they can tank it, they do it barely. How about downscaling instead? It sounds more pausible since they can indeed tank it, it's not really open to possibilities.
    Mr. Bambu

Meh, I just can't personally remember what led to that conclusion- discussions that I don't think I have a presence in any more, I don't recall any lore that would have made that cool. They're still evaluated, but I think it would be better to just go with destruction/superheating, tbh.

That last point sounds fine to me. Six years of experience has changed how I view a lot of things, and our standards have also changed significantly since then.
