  • I have many responsibilities on this site, and this means I only wear each hat for as long as is necessary. Therefore, you may leave CRT/calc eval/whatever requests, and I will try to get to it, but understand that my time is limited and I'm normally already tapped for some wiki policy matter or maintaining the wiki management threads or handling account issues for users who never seem to get things right. Low priority requests include tiershit, particularly active verses, and discussions with a lot of active staff voices already present. I'm not saying "no" but I probably won't get to them. If I don't reply, smart money says it won't be me to get to it. Sorry.

    Hello. I decided to ask this to you since I'm not sure if this is worthy enough for a thread.
    So, as you know, we have roblox player inserts in this wiki. John EBG, John Combat, etc.
    As with some of these games, these game have no "canon" to them. You just join and kill stuff. However as per SBA, the "strongest canon" version of said party has to be used.
    So my question to you is... do we assume the "most skilled version" of said party? It's technically SBA but for roblox player inserts (or any game where it's a player controlled character)?

    if they have no canon then they technically run afoul of our rules, since we require an element of plot to be indexable

    Your standard assumption would be their strongest form, whatever that may be. If they get stronger based on skill, then so be it, that would be the version of the party you use.

    Doing it the other way would provide advantages to some characters, or significantly weaken others. Yeah, everything affects the balance of a match. Your Top 5 list is sort of flawed in that it doesn't take that into context. Suppose you have a 9-C with mind manip resistance and a gun versus a 9-C who can mind control people by the millions, is the former stronger because he wins a 1v1 or is the latter stronger because he can turn New York against one man?

    The SBA states that the conditions ought to be tweaked so that no party has a significant situational advantage. That's our policy more or less summed up.

    I think its moreso appropriate to make it so that neither parties are stopped from using their abiltieis to their full extent. So for eg someone who would usually start with a nuke in a pure 1v1 having to choose smth else because too many people will die

    First of all, I believe I misunderstood your comment regarding the whole Domination/Manipulation matter, which led me to make an irrelevant point in the thread.
    I sincerely apologize for that.

    Secondly, regarding the Space-Time Manipulation,yes, it does inherit the sub-skills of Spatial Domination. What the OP is trying to say is that, since Space-Time Manipulation inherited the sub-skills of its previous form (Spatial Domination), then by the same logic, Space-Time Domination should also inherit the sub-skills of space-time manipulation.

    To put it simply:

    Spatial Manipulation → Spatial Domination (inherits all prior abilities) → Space-Time Manipulation (inherits all previous + temporal abilities) → Space-Time Domination (not directly stated, but logically should inherit all previous abilities as well).

    Thirdly, I think the OP might have accidentally written Spatial Domination instead of Space-Time Manipulation at one point, especially since he mentioned temporal abilities, which Spatial Domination doesn’t cover.

    Hmm, well, although Footman never directly used it on someone else, it's at least shown that the ability isn't limited to just his own body , he can apply it to attacks, such as projectiles.

    However, Velgrynd explicitly stated that any lower-tier skill , those not on the level of Ultimate Skills are ineffective against beings who transcend those laws. She said this while witnessing Carrera’s Gravity Collapse. While she didn’t nullify the attack, she tanked it and remained completely unaffected , meaning she resisted its effects.

    So, naturally, Footman’s ability , which falls under the lower skill category, should also be ineffective against someone like US user, even if he were to use it directly or not .

    Well, yeah, but I believe that's not the only case, since Yuuki's Anti-Magic, Chloe's Infinite Prison, or abilities like Disintegration are still can somhow affect them.

    But if the ability is never shown to affect people other than the user anyways, we have no reason to give a resistance. It's an ability that seemingly can't be used on them anyways. It's ineffective because it isn't for targeting people.

    Hello, I have a quick formatting question.

    If a character has a justification which goes : "...can bypass conventional durability with his power", with said character having multiple keys with all of them needing the statement, do I have to put it in every key? If so, do I put it at the end of each AP justification : tier (explanation), possibly tier (explanation), can bypass... or can I put it in the middle of them?

    Straight up, I don't think that's a required thing to put in anyways. It's just permitted to do so. You can skip it after the first justification if you want.
