    Oh!

You didn't link the CRT, so it had appeared as though they were baseless. Given the formatting being weird (no commas and whatnot) I had taken this to mean that you didn't know our policies.

I may still want to discuss this, since the kilogram stuff seems... very very strange, at best, but I didn't realize you'd done this. In the future, when the edit prompts you to explain what you did, it is our policy to link to the related CRT.

Oh ok. Thank you, I didn’t realise you were supposed to link the CRT in the edits.
Hi, could you please give your input here? It's just a simple calc application.
    Hi Bambu
If scp is deleted, will its light novel (iris through the looking glass) and manga be added to the profile on the wiki? Or do they suffer the same fate?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I'm not familiar enough to say. If they are literally just SCP content, probably banned with it, I don't see why we'd cherry pick like that.

I should ask you, would there be anyone in DnD who'd actually be a thematic match for him or is there no shot?
    DaReaperMan
    DaReaperMan
Whoever told you that about Fantasy was bullshitting.

Only very specific hax and resistances from specific characters are 1-A(IE, Archaon's BFR and Be'lakor's fatehax), the majority of it that's magic is 3-D and packing 0-7 layers, depending on the character, ability, feats, species, etc.

Settra is currently the only character of all the fantasy profiles that isn't a literal God that's blessed with 1-A resistance to Aethyr Manipulation-- not even his hax, just his resistances.

That, or they're talking about the stuff it takes to even make the magic, which is indeed 1-A, but as detailed in the smurf stuff, drawing power from a 1-A Source IS NOT sufficient to have 1-A hax, you need to effect something on that level, which both Arkhan and Nagash have done, hence Settra resisting their shit being so impressive
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
so he just has 1-A resistance to magic.
    DaReaperMan
    DaReaperMan
It's deceptive, I should note, because Aethyr is technically everything on several levels, so the only things that properly work are either good enchanted weapons or physical attacks(Like, Settra probably shouldn't resist a flamethrower, but he will resist you using random supernatural flames)
Hey there, I just had a quick question/recommendation regarding your recent staff post about removing SCP. While I'm no expert on SCP content, I do understand the arguments you've made in the forum. However, I was wondering if it would still be possible to keep SCP content on the site but as a "closed" verse. I for one enjoy having the wiki as a resource for consistent scaling information on SCP content, so it would be a shame to see all the work put into it go away in my opinion. Thus, could it be possible that if the change goes through, then all SCP content is closed to further edits rather than deleted? That, or it could be archived in someone way on an external blog of some kind. I'm not sure how plausible either of these could be, but I think it would satisfy the wants of people who still would like to have access to the pages.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I don't think that's a great idea, and would rather have them as a sort of fluid archive that SCP supporters could internally work on. They've already discussed doing that already, and I think it's a good idea.
    Chritin
    Chritin
That's fair. I'd personally hate to see them all go (specifically the Admonition pages since that is my personal favorite canon), so I'm happy to hear people are discussing keeping some kind of archive.
Hi. Sorry for bother you again, I know you haven't watched The Ones Who lives but need your help. In this thread, there was a dispute about the feat associated with the explosion and power of explosion. I'm not sure about the correctness of this feat because the explosion is actually very illogical. Can you give you input here pls

Hello. With recent ongoing debate of deletion of SCP wiki, I am curious about web novel. Would that mean we don't allow any Japanese/anime web novel ? because from what i know about how that system work is basically you create account, create your own story and hope that your creation will get popular. We indexing those web novels based on popularity. I am talking specifically about this : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shōsetsuka_ni_Narō

I believe official adaptation of those web novels such as novel, light novel , manga, visual novel, anime, etc are allowed.

    Thanks
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
No, it wouldn't mean we don't allow web novels. The deletion of SCP is not because it was published directly to the web, and we will continue to host a number of web-based publications (Worm, Madness Combat, Monument Mythos, etc). We don't allow things like Wattpad and such, however- this was the rule before the SCP deletion thread.

For more information, please read the "Inclusion of Verses" section of our Editing Rules page.

yes, i agree about this those web based publications are official with clear identity.

We don't allow things like Wattpad and such
from what i know Shōsetsuka_ni_Narō is similar like wattpad. (you create account, create your own story and hope that your creation will get popular) Any random unknown users can create story which i believe there are loop holes that can be exploited.

For more information, please read the "Inclusion of Verses" section of our Editing Rules page.
    Alright.
Greetings, can i get permission to talk in the SCP deletion thread?

Oh, i just going to put my sincere opinion about the SCP situation rn (also, they already gave me permissions from other side)
Might as well have someone with a stern eye look over this

To prep you for the tiering
    1. 8-A comes from Grinderfists making big holes and certain other monsters and individuals tank their attacks, though there are indeed holes you can poke into the tier for fantasy, that's for another day.
    2. High 6-C comes from a 2nd edition statement for Bloodthirsters, literally the Lugia calc all over again.
    3. 5-C is where it gets ******' weird, it comes from End Times Thanquol where the Morskittar engine nukes Morslieb, a Warpstone Moon... it's weird, but something something incarnates are the strongest form of their winds of magic, and thus scale, something something.

Hello Bambu and sorry to bother you. I have a question regarding the scaling of a certain character, though I'll not disclose the name for now (I'm planning something).

Let's assume the cosmology of a story is a multiverse. If a character wandered to another universe beyond his own and turned that universe into his "dream", making him able to manipulate it however he sees fit, but still being a "not R>F character" outside its own dreamworld, would that be a reasoning for R>F ? It feels something more like "subjective reality" but I'll prefer to have your input.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I also believe that sounds more like reality warping/subjective reality than a tier-defining statement, yes.
sir do you think its a good idea if i abandon the high godly regen DnD thread?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I think it's unlikely to happen without further evidence, although if you were to pivot towards high-godly healing I believe Qawsedf already accepted such a notion.

Finally and this is coming from someone who have some knowledge of SCP from YouTube videos.

Just a casual fan of SCP, but even this is fanfic, but to deliberate extremes in this case.

Did Saikou also got a say in this as well? Then again, there is Sir Oven too

Alright, but either way, I alway have a sneaky suspicion that VS Battle Wiki or hell any other website that has similar purposes for that matter will unintentionally corrupt something in the process as that was admittedly one of my fears when I was originally on this site for the past 4 to 6 years.

Maybe more, but at the time, it was merely a suspicion
What do you think of this minor addition? It would be nice if you indicate which of the possibly or likely ratings is better when evulating the OP.
Hi bambu, could you please evaluate this please?
Umm, can you take a while to look through this CRT? It has been left for quite a long time. My apologize if I bother you when you are occupied (once again)

You're not familiar with the verse? That's fine
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I'm broadly familiar, but not in depth. This isn't really the reason I don't engage with it.

To enlighten you, I somewhat infamously declared back in 2018 (when I became staff) that I wouldn't work with verses that made themselves more trouble than they were worth to me. At the time (and continuing to the present) this included, mainly, Dragon Ball and the HST. So I don't work on 'em, never have.

I respectfully pass the buck, good luck.
Could you close this crt? It has already been completed successfully
Hello Bambu, could you please take a look and give some input in this CRT? I ask Ant input but he said it needed for another admin input to confirm (This is hard, because the thread haven't taken any more light... so could you please take a look at it?)
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
we hateses the filthy tierses threads, gollum, gollum

(I might when I have time)
Hey Bambu, i don't know if it's allowed but could you please close this thread? you've been there and have seen how the OP doesn't listen to anyone, even the people trying to correct him, at this point it will just be a cicle of ad nauseam and the thread will become unnecessarily longer. Furthermore he appears to have used a fake scan in an attempt to support his arguments. So I would appreciate if the thread could be closed at this point🙏🏻.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
Oh, wow, I started typing a closure message, went out for like 30 minutes, came back and finished it, and then saw this. I suppose the closure was self-evidently needed.
So sate my curiosity, I calculated the temperature needed to vaporize the Earth’s core, and I got a comical 2480102688 K!

    With what formula?
    Hagane_no_Saiyajin
    Hagane_no_Saiyajin
    Hagane_no_Saiyajin
My mistake it’s actually 38643.50768 K, although the method is still the same:

    Heat of vaporization = 340000 J/mol

    molar mass = 0.055845 kg/mol

    Inner core iron density = 13000 kg/m^3 * 0.945 = 12285 kg/m^3

    Inner core radius = 1221000 m

calculated inner core iron volume = 7.20555E+18 m^3

calculated iron mass = 9.9124E+22 kg

    Gas constant = 8.31446261815324 JK−1⋅mol−1

    T = 340000*12285/0.055845*7.20555E+18/(9.9124E+22/.055845*8.31446261815324) = 38643.50768 K
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
    Hi. Today was movie night.

The inner and outer core fluctuate in terms of how large they are, trading off one another. If you wanted to try to figure out how much that occurs, you probably could and it would result in a better calculation, strictly speaking.
Could you calc how much heat Omni-Man is tanking in the black hole scene from Season 2? Since he's not inside the accretion disk itself he's not tanking all 10×10⁶°C of it, but the amount of thermal radiation he's getting from being right next to it should probably still net a value worth calcing.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
    Nope, haven't watched Season 2.
